Sounds very similar to how we would handle it the UK and far better than some 'free speech' type right to rally and assemble.
It's the 40th anniversary of the Lewisham 77 National Front march a few of us here will remember, when 500 far right extremists were allowed to assemble and march but were opposed by thousands of protesters.

The police tactics that day of allowing the fascists only a brief stroll down some back streets before shepherding them onto trains paid dividends and helped to bring about the NFs demise.

Lots of questions about where Morondig and BroadwaySoShyt are from.

Moron is from Western Europe somewhere and lies about being American. Going to bed at midnight UK time gave that away.

SoShyt is not American or European as he refers to them in the third person. Probably Australian/NZ.

I'm sure the BBC was correct, did they say why it was declared unlawful?

Charlottesville: One killed in violence over US far-right rally

One person has died and 19 others were injured when a car rammed a crowd of people opposing a far-right rally in the US state of Virginia, police say.

Earlier, street brawls erupted between white nationalists planning to attend the march and counter-protesters.

The mayor of Charlottesville, where the now-cancelled rally was taking place, said he was "heartbroken" at the death.

President Donald Trump has condemned the violence, and local officials have declared a state of emergency.

The car involved in the ramming incident was later located a few streets away and the driver is in custody, the city's police chief said.

In addition to those injured there, the Charlottesville Police Department said another 15 people were injured in other violence related to the far-right march.

Late in the afternoon, a Virginia State Police helicopter, crashed in woodland south-west of the city, killing two people; however, there has been no indication that this was related to the violence.

The "Unite the Right" march was called to protest against plans to remove a statue of a general who had fought for the pro-slavery Confederacy during the US Civil War.

'Car backed up and hit again'

Video posted on social media showed a car ploughing at speed into several slow-moving vehicles, which were surrounded by a densely packed crowd.

Police earlier fired tear gas against demonstrators and said that arrests had been made after a declaration of unlawful assembly at Emancipation Park.
That's all they say about it afaik.

That's slightly before my recall from the time but I remember well the anti-nazi league who were just emerging and played a big part.

It's worrying that they are starting to be needed again. It's not just the BNP who splutter into life now and again. UKIP seem to be lurching into an ever more extreme party.

Hateful social inadequate and abortion process failure wil wrong-un refusing to condemn Nazi terrorism is the least surprising outcome of this terrible event.

My guess for Mongidig is Swedish. He does a pretty good impression of an American though.
08-13-2017 , 04:46 AM
What mitigates against him being Swedish is his relative lack of interest in the immigration thread that's become Scandinavia-centric.

His repeated use of a c in discusting isn't something I've seen from illiterate Brits before, so I think he's a continental Euro with some phonetic misspellings of less common words he didn't learn as a teenager at school.

these deplorables have run their course it seems

mods,

so we're good with just telling outright lies now?

They sense their moment is arriving, hopeful that under their orange Nazi people will at last feel free to express their righteous anger by running protesters over in cars.
08-13-2017 , 05:21 AM
I mean, for the umpteenth time, I wouldn't want them banned but it's kinda perplexing me how anybody could read this and not throw down banhammers.

Dudes watched a nazi murder a woman and still pull the whataboutism. Just no decency left.

The unlawful assembly was declared in Emancipation Park, around the Lee statue, so police could clear the area. Some of the fascists then moved to another park two miles away to hear their speakers. When Richard Spencer mentioned the name of the mayor, the fascists started chanting 'Jew! Jew! Jew!'

Some of the fascists were visibly injured, but they themselves had been seen attacking others with sprays and sticks or beating them with shields.

And then Fields, one of the fascists, decided to adopt a popular Islamic State murder method. The United States Attorney for Virginia now owns Fields's sorry hindquarters.

Quite a good BBC report:--

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40914748

Apart from the (often Nazi-style) helmets, some of the fascists were carrying assault rifles.
08-13-2017 , 06:24 AM
They also, as 57 just pointed out, had assault rifles, but hey.

The car doesn't have to do with this, it happened HOURS after the clashes started. It was obviously a crazy act from a crazy person.

The protestors are scum but they are obviously the ones being attacked - which is why I'm saying it was the leftists who were looking for a fight. They showed up with baseball bats, they WANTED to fight. The protestors had shields. When you WANT to fight do you show up with a weapon or a shield?

Again, do you have any idea what you are actually looking at? You can't figure this out? I have to explain every single detail to you, or are you just seeing what you want to see?

Lol at william saying they deserved it because they brought shields. The rwnj's brought an arsenal of weapons. Wil, acknowledge a couple things: you and these guys voted for trump, and these guys hate you. Clayton bigsby you are indeed.

wil wrong-un's well documented boot-licking prowess doesn't stop at his workplace. He's more than happy to give a tongue-shine to the jackboots of people who would have him and his family exterminated.

But all that I side I really feel like we turned a corner here; wil watched a human murdered and is derping about freaks with pink hair.
08-13-2017 , 07:27 AM
Why won't the president say the phrase "Nazi alt – right white nationalist"
08-13-2017 , 07:28 AM
Or how about "radical American terrorism"?

You are #blaming a #hashtag for murders again. And doing so for the sake of being argumentative about yesterday's murder. You are acting like white supremacists little ***** arguing murder for them.
