Bigotry is intolerance of other peoples opinions. Is that an agreeable definition?

I didn't evade answering. In fact, I responded consistently with what you have provided

Yet I still don't know what you define as bigotry. How can this be?

Sounds good to me. You agree with the following then?

Bigotry: intolerance of other peoples opinions.

Phobia: an extreme or irrational fear or aversion to something

Intolerance: unwillingness to accept views, beliefs, or behavior that differ from one's own.

Disagreement: lack of consensus or approval.
Still waiting for an answer to this as well.

You aren't taking implied "no" for an answer for your demands for answers. Why?

Bill Maher on the bathroom debate:
"When I say, “That’s not unreasonable” [to not want to share a bathroom with a transgender person] it’s because women have said that to me: “I want to know,” or “I’m not comfortable with someone in the bathroom, even if they, in their minds, have decided they are a woman.” Doesn’t that opinion count at all?"

Seattle Man in woman's locker room:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...room/80501904/

Your narrowly defined edge case isn't where it stops.
I'm barely aware of who Bill Maher is and couldn't care less what a TV personality has to say about it.

People should be able to use the toilets they feel most comfortable using. If some creep decides to take advantage of this by perving in women's toilets or groping them outside it, call the Philadelphia police department.

Unlike you, a lot of people do 'consider' what people who reach very large audiences do have to say on subjects. Your personal anecdotes do not for laws make. Your opinions are relatively irrelevant.

As for your scenario - there was no LAW that could remove the gentleman in Seattle. He had every right to be there.
You call the police in Seattle and they do....what exactly?

This "man" has every "right" to use man's restroom (although I'd doubt they'd mind):

Perhaps you can't see the absurd, but then again the original position is absurd to being with.

No, you'd rather defend pedophiles, I understand.

*Note - your accusations will be met in kind.

Jiggy is soooo dishonest with his accusations it's probably ban-able. Also using "man" in quotes when referring to (presumably) a trans female.

Lastly, doesn't know that plural for man is men (man's restroom). Needs to update the Putinbot software dictionary.

Bahahahah. Don't be so emotional, child. There are other people I feel worse for than transgenders.
Of course. Trans people have drawn the short straw because they have to deal with people like you. Anytime they go to a restroom in public they have to decide which one is less likely to result in them getting assaulted.

I still disagree with this take. wil's posts do not deny the existence of transgender people; in fact, they explicitly acknowledge their existence in a number of places.

Saying a male-to-female transgender is not a woman is not equivalent to saying that they are not transgender.

This might be more suited for the mod thread, but I thought the PC thing was over. It's pretty obvious that posts calling something or someone "******ed" do not violate site-wide rules.

I'm not the one who said I'd get violent with anyone. That was wil and microbet "calling it like he sees it".

Sigh.

@Tilted, No but saying they are a man is effectively denying they are transgender.

'PC' has been retired because of issues with the name but the standard is not simply 'site rules'. The site allow a lot more than we do here. Best take it to the mod thread but briefly, although we've allowing a much greater volume and lack of content in personal attacks (yippee!), they still shouldn't be too objectionable.

Where does it stop though? If someone wants to say they're Napoleon and we deny that they are Napoleon no one is denying that they believe they're Napoleon?

What about anorexics? Just because they believe they're not damaging their health doesn't make it true.

I think I agree with Jordan Peterson here - denying that there is an issue impedes those who need help in dealing with their issues. They seem to be working against their own interests.

When does your arguing about it stop? Do you shoot for certain levels of misery and stupefaction or do you let your cup runneth over?
