Uh, yeah, he's apparently too stupid to have a job at Disney. Lol at the implication that being a YouTube star requires intelligence. Idiot.

Are you unfamiliar with "First they came..."

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I may not agree with your speech, but I will defend your ability to say it. And the WSJ piece was designed to silence PewdiePie - by mischaracterizing his speech. (Not free speech, but silenced speech nonetheless.)

He didn't work for Disney, it was some sort of advertising partnership or something.

After the WSJ Peggy Noonan idiocy I think this pewpeedoop discussion is letting Iron Tamer off easy.

It's pretty easy for these people to pretend to care about the rights of someone making a joke that was in bad taste like Kathy Griffin, er pewpeepie.

Maybe if ACEG wants to serve in the military you should.

I watch and listen to all sorts of media/entertainment. Movies, television shows, music, youtube content.

In specific terms of youtube content, I regularly watch quite a few channels who upload content very regularly. Do you know how many put out videos with stuff like Nazi imagery and "kill all jews"? Precisely zero. This says a lot about pewdiepie, and this is why he lost his deal. This is not to say I think he is a neo-Nazi. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. But I do think he's a massive troll.

A couple things..

1) They already came for the nazis, so it's too late for you.

2) The Wall Street Journal is not the government you halfwit.

Why? Do you think the military is just there to sit on its ass and eat? Or are you incapable of distinguishing between apples and oranges?

Did PewDiePie participate in ISIS imagery in the United States targeting the current President of the United States?

Are all oranges apples to you? Or just apple oranges?

Do you know what "silenced" speech is, you moron? NVM - requires too much though for your two brain cells. Carry on simpleton.

Mother****er you hate socialists, trade unionists, and Jews! YOU are the "they" who will come for them.

And so does PewDiePew! That one thing people keep referencing was just part of it, he had a bunch of anti-semitic or otherwise problematic content. And WSJ's article literally just explained **** the guy put on public Youtube channels.

I don't know what sort of mischaracterization you think was in the article, but of course, we both know neither you nor Iron Tamer have actually read the article you're mad about.

Oddly one of the things that I think we'd discover if we kept going down the rabbit hole of why various clearly conservative columnists are actually secret leftists is that some of them might advocate for small government instead of jackbooted authority brutalizing the citizenry.

I think thousands of TG people are already serving in the military just fine, the cost is minimal and it's important to allow Americans who wish to serve and are physically and mentally capable to do so. Are you incapable of being a decent American?

No, he participated in Nazi imagery. That's just about murdering millions of people in death camps. Not such a big deal, huh? Didn't touch on Dear Leader anyway.

The estimated costs are $1.3 Billion to $3.7 Billion over 10 years. Doesn't sound minimal for something not directly related to the mission.

Is the military a social experiment?

You said Kathy Griffin.

That also took place a long time ago. Can Jews make holocaust jokes? Can no one make holocaust jokes? Or is it still "too soon"?

You are aware people use humor to deal with tragedy?

Quote:
“The implication is that even in the most extreme scenario that we were able to identify … we expect only a 0.13-percent ($8.4 million out of $6.2 billion) increase in health care spending,” Rand's authors concluded.

By contrast, total military spending on erectile dysfunction medicines amounts to $84 million annually, according to an analysis by the Military Times — 10 times the cost of annual transition-related medical care for active duty transgender servicemembers.

The military spends $41.6 million annually on Viagra alone, according to the Military Times analysis — roughly five times the estimated spending on transition-related medical care for transgender troops.

Looked at another way, the upper estimate for annual transgender medical costs in the military amounts to less than a tenth of the price of a new F-35 fighter jet. Or a thousandth of 1 percent of the Defense Department's annual budget.

I know it is physically impossible to silence someone by writing a negative article about them in the newspaper and also that "the right" to say something is not the same as the right to say it without being criticized.

You are an imbecile.

I've never said anything about pewpeepie other than his being a stupid internet youtoob thing that I'm surprised any adults have ever heard of.

Pretty much the same situation as Kathy Griffin though and it's totally not surprising that you want to burn one of these people at the stake and apologize for the other. Your "First they came for socialists" thing was utter bull**** obviously.
