How do you know perpetuating a lie is not causing harm? These folks are transforming their bodies, taking drugs, all in attempt to make themselves into something they are not, and never will be.

I'm not going to pretend my reasoning here is completely altruistic, more than one based upon logic and common sense, but the idea of perpetuating a lie as being the right course does not seem like the responsible way to go.
