I mean, this is ****ing obvious. You could note that I don't defend every single thing you might think is ridiculous on the left and I don't lick Hillary's boots the way you do for Trump. I don't claim to be without a point of view, but I'm not doing what you're doing, which is either being completely disingenuous or really stupid.
Ok. Microbet - the article explicitly states they use housing code in order to enforce segregation. They go so far as to cite Chinese property only being advertised in Chinese so that other ethnicities can't find it. Read the article. To be fair though - isn't that what affirmative action pushes for? Equality of outcomes, regardless of methods. As Oliver points out - the South is the most racially integrated part of the country.

I don't defend everything Trump and I told you he wasn't my first pick. However, he's doing a pretty good job. Better than Obama and certainly better than Hillary. You're right amnesty might not be a huge deal - if we reduce border crossings (like we have been and including a wall). Any amnesty deal has to come with border enforcement - which was ALWAYS a Republican position. It's the Democrats that only wanted amnesty with no enforcement. Trump supporters don't need to take Trump literally to take him seriously. He's been effective where it counts.

As for the second, are you suggesting that if women only could vote for who was allowed to use bathrooms for women, you'd go along? That sounds like a fine idea to me.
You do realize that women voted for the representatives writing the bathroom laws, yes?

That argument implies that representatives act out the will of the people that voted for them, which is false. The GOP healthcare bill has like 17% approval because representatives are acting in ways their voters don't want them to.

edit: or if I were to employ your dumb rhetorical tactics, "I'm glad you admit that Obamacare was the will of the people"

Do you think Michael Steele is a racist for being a Republican?
Wait, now we're back to the Southern Strategy being a myth?

I'm sorry you don't like that we don't have a direct democracy, but that's just the way our Republic works. You should take a civics class sometime.

"Some Republicans"? These guys were the chairs of the RNC speaking for the RNC. You are delusional.

See, he wasn't serious about being OK with whatever women want in regards to TG toilet use.

Look at a Republican not agreeing with other Republicans. Weird in your world, I know.

Didn't read the article and I don't have time. For our purposes here I'll take your word for it and just state that I oppose laws which restrict property ownership by race period.

The wall is a perfect example of appearance over function. During the campaign the border patrol union came out and said that the wall is unnecessary and in places would hinder them. They still supported Trump though. Why? Because it's all about talk and appearances. I understand that they want someone to boldly just say "I'M ON YOUR SIDE", but it's not about policy.

As far as immigration in general goes, I fundamentally disagree with you on it I suspect and I expect your reasons are largely BS. Immigration is good for our economy and immigrants commit fewer crimes on average. I expect you'll offer some BS about those things not being true.

As far as matters of pure opinion go, I think it's good for the US in other ways like culturally and I think it's fair in that the US has largely created a lot of the conditions in Mexico and Central America which are driving people out. I'm not 100% for open borders necessarily, but pretty close. I think it should be very easy to immigrate unless there is a very compelling reason not to allow it and I don't think there's anything close to that. I don't see anything other than to agree to disagree on most of that, but I will say that I think the opposition is racist and that there wouldn't be any such opposition to the same influx of white European Christians.

Huh? You suggested direct democracy and our representative government are equivalent in your response to microbet, which is dumb and wrong.

Yeah, that's non responsive. We weren't talking about representatives. We were talking about the issue. You said you'd support women if they wanted to allow trans in their bathrooms. I know you may not get the opportunity to vote on just that issue, but if you ever do and women are polled, I assume you'll vote to open women's bathrooms to transgender if that's what they want.

I think you're a little misguided here.

I think Ann Coulter said it best - "We should recruit immigrants like the Patriots recruit football players". The best and brightest should be enticed to come here and stay. When I was getting my MBA, half the class was Chinese and the other half were Indians (obviously there was a minority contingent of other races, but the majority were from those countries). I wish this country would do more to allow them to stay instead of sending them back (although I don't like H1-B visa abuse and yes I know Trump plays the game, just like EVERY big business out there).

If Canadians were entering our country illegally and at the same rates as those south of the border, we'd have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM! The only reason the Left cries racism is because they like pointing at brown people. And I'm not buying your white guilt "but we caused this" bull****. Just a non-starter there.

Open borders is absolutely decimating the landscape of Europe and was one of the primary drivers of Brexit.

To be fair, Conservatives also want to protect illegal immigrants from being exploited by businesses as well. Leftists don't seem to care much about that.
Come here legally, enter the system as appropriate, earn your right to legal wages, and pay your taxes. We have a process - follow it. And listen, don't give me that **** that illegals pay taxes - the evidence is not on your side.

If women unite on the single issue of transgender bathrooms and elect representatives to enact such a will, I won't stop them.

Now, remind me again where gay marriage was legalized by representatives or ballot initiatives?

A public bathroom is the sort of high traffic area where stranger rape doesn't strike me as easy to get away with, but if the rapist wants to do it anyway, you can go into the women's bathroom dressed as a man. There's not a ****ing bouncer checking dress codes.

And since it's panicky fears of child molestation specifically, isn't same sex child molestation a concern? It's not like there's evidence that trans people are more likely to be child molesters. And the vast majority of child molestation isn't a stranger grabbing a kid for a quickie in Target, it's neighbors and family members and ****.

It's just complete nonsense, just raw seething resentment over losing the culture war and seeing an opportunity to bully a demographic that already gets a raw deal.

No, calling a man, a man is not a hate crime....you really should yell at the person who taught you this because it's ****ing stupid.

In a way it was. I mean, Al Franken had to cheat to get his seat and they had to pass it in the dead of night. But then they ****ed up and couldn't hold onto enough seats in Congress to fix the stupid **** piece of legislation and Obama lost of 1,000 Democrat government seats in 8 years....but yeah, will of the people I guess.

When it comes to leveling blanket assertions about a huge portion of the country I don't just bring my feelings to a facts fight, I make sure I know what I'm talking about first. Clearly you don't have the same level of restraint.

Or that I'm already familiar with the positions of both sides and have drawn my own conclusions. Hence the shorthand. But if you want to go read up on it - well, you've already pulled out the phrases. Google is your friend.

Labor law
Minimum wage
OSHA
Overtime laws
Unemployment, health, Social security benefits

These are all policies the right opposes. If you actually had really strong support for American labor you might make it so American citizens would do things like farm labor and that might keep down immigration more than any wall.
