Sad news out of Poland. As background, there's a long article I read last November about the rise of a far-right movement there, who gained power in 2015 following 8 years of fairly good centrist stewardship that saw strong gains in their economy.

One part of that takeover was a constitutional crisis regarding the appointment of new justices to the Supreme Court:

Saturday: Polish parliament votes to neutralize independence of courts

It now rests on Poland's president to sign or not sign the measure, but as a former member of the ruling far-right party, it is expected he'll approve it.

Maybe for you, but not really for many. Gay people are told all the time its not something they are and its something they have been brainwashed into and can be cured of to get back to their natural opposite sex self's.
