We've heard these arguments before.
You do realize that I was referring specifically to your post, which means that I had read all of the posts in the thread up until that one.

And if they've already been discussed and shouldn't be brought up anymore, why is it ok for you to keep bringing up those (discredited) points/arguments?

In today's edition of "the president of the United States is a ****ing doofus"...

Trump cites an article on Lawfare - probably because he saw it mentioned on television, where he gets most of his information about the world - in slamming the 9th Circuit's decision.

Here's the problem: The article, overall, agrees with the court (and trolls the administration with its incompetence):

Quote:
The Ninth Circuit is correct to leave the TRO in place, in my view, for the simple reason that there is no cause to plunge the country into turmoil again while the courts address the merits of these matters over the next few weeks.
Quote:
Eventually, the court has to confront the clash between a broad delegation of power to the President—a delegation which gives him a lot of authority to do a lot of not-nice stuff to refugees and visa holders—in a context in which judges normally defer to the president, and the incompetent malevolence with which this order was promulgated.

Also from the "Trump is a deeply unintelligent person" department:

The majority of the article he's talking about is about their phone call yesterday

That's some great news there btw, remember Trump being all like "maybe we'll just forget about this One China policy?" Xi made him bend the knee with no gain for the US on the other end. Trump making great deals, just the best deals, the best foreign policy.

Forget just talking about approval/disapproval ratings - new PPP poll finds that the country is split on impeaching Trump

Quote:
Just three weeks into his administration, voters are already evenly divided on the issue of impeaching Trump with 46% in favor and 46% opposed. Support for impeaching Trump has crept up from 35% 2 weeks ago, to 40% last week, to its 46% standing this week.
The best job as president

Also it sure seems like Mike Flynn is in some hot water with this whole talking to Russia about sanctions and relations before the inauguration thing:

Quote:
Throughout the discussions, the message Mr. Flynn conveyed to the ambassador, Sergey I. Kislyak — that the Obama administration was Moscow’s adversary and that relations with Russia would change under Mr. Trump — was unambiguous and highly inappropriate, the officials said.

The accounts of the conversations raise the prospect that Mr. Flynn violated a law against private citizens’ engaging in diplomacy, and directly contradict statements made by Trump advisers. They have said that Mr. Flynn spoke to Mr. Kislyak a few days after Christmas merely to arrange a phone call between President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia and Mr. Trump after the inauguration.
What a great administration!

You rate this as 90% plus? : ) He should just issue another order that doesn't offend the tender sensibilities of the 9th Circus. Then again, the 9th does have a 80% plus overturn rate, so it will be interesting to see how things go.

This was discussed in detail already.

New York Magazine (admittedly liberal, but they're not wrong here) has a piece on watching Trump work his way, in real time, through understanding asset forfeiture during his sheriffs group meeting (a concept he had clearly never heard of before this meeting). Regarding the transcript posted in that article of the conversation, which you can read and judge for yourself:

Quote:
So what’s striking here is the manner in which, over the course of an exchange that lasts perhaps a couple minutes, Trump progresses from learning of the existence of a new (to him) concept, to misunderstanding completely what it is and why it’s controversial, to developing a strong opinion about it painted in a childlike understanding of the world and of morality (“Who would want that pressure, other than, like, bad people, right?”), to expressing outrage that anyone could have an opinion about it that diverges from his own.

In this instance, we have full access to Trump’s thought process, to his confused knee-jerk conclusions. What’s going on behind closed doors, when the stakes are higher and there are no White House transcripts available?
The president is a deeply unintelligent person and is going to make disastrous decisions for this country as a result.

Amazing how toothsayer and wil thought trump was super intelligent when everything has always said the opposite. He's simply not an intelligent man. And he's super emotional. If I had acted like he does when I was a teenager my parents would be super worried about my emotional health.

Here is some truth from an actual marine who knows first hand what we are facing. This is refreshing considering all the anti Trump rhetoric we keep reading. Nobody cares what the 90%+ liberal media is reporting. They are deligitimized because of their fake news and leftist slant.

Once you're done telling us what an ******* is he is and how you want to put his head in the cement you want to answer his question? Has Trump done anything that shows he isn't an idiot since he was inaugurated?

Doesn't surprise me at all, since people who are against him and people who want him jettisoned out of office one way or another as fast as possible are one and the same.

Toothsayer once admitted that he was against Trump until he started listening to his speeches, which is an asinine premise to say the least, given that every speech contained nothing but lies and pandering, and most or all of each one was written by someone not named Donald Trump.

This thread is not about posters and particularly not about ones who have no right of reply.

Everyone move on please.

Sorry, I have more veterans than you who also know first hand what we are facing.

By the way, this quote from your Fox News article is priceless:

Quote:
Gern said the tension and danger for Americans abroad has ramped up since the travel ban started in President Trump’s second week in office.
WOW SHOCKER THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT LIBERALS SAID WOULD HAPPEN. Thanks Trump, why are you putting Americans in more danger?

The Intercept, who did a lot of negative reporting on Hillary during the election (for the OMG BIASSSSS crew), has a brief story about Ali Vayeghan, a green card holder who CBP tried to send back to Tehran before a court ordered he be returned.

Quote:
After 20 hours in detention, with no provision of food or sleeping accommodations, during which time Customs and Border Protection tried to get him to sign away his residency (he refused), Ali was put on a plane to Dubai, where he was expected to connect to a flight back to Tehran, and to somehow get through customs in both countries with “REVOKED” written across his visa with a red sharpie.
Quote:
On the afternoon of February 2, Ali Vayeghan, apparently the first person to be deported out of LAX under Trump’s executive order, became the first person to be brought back into the country under a court ruling that rejected the legal and constitutional basis of Trump’s ban. The ACLU hadn’t been able to prevent Ali’s removal from the United States, but it had managed to secure his return.
After getting back, with his brother and L.A. mayor Eric Garcetti:

Thank god the courts did their job while Trump was trying to break up families that have legal permanent residence.
