Good news Trumpkins, it's okay for you to trust CNN again, Kellyanne said they aren't fake news!

On February 7th 2009, Obama's nominee for Labor wasn't even out of committee yet; the president is either too ignorant to know that, or does know and is lying anyway

Following Trump's botched Yemen operation, Yemen revokes permission for the US to conduct ground operations in their country

The media is obviously hugely biased in one direction. There is no denying the fact, as every single thing he's done has been criticized. The Trump administration knows this so they just say some ridiculous things. It keeps the media busy reporting absurdity and people will start to realize how dumb their reporting really is. I mean, just look at the stories everyone is talking about when it comes to his adminstration.

As far as a distraction, I'm unsure how much of a motive that is. He fired away with some executive orders but he's waiting for his confirmations. Once that happens they start going into high gear. I think they are aware they have a small window here in case they lose a lot of seats in the midterms, which historically has proven true. I wouldn't be surprised if that trend doesn't hold true in this upcoming one but I'd have to actually research it, which I haven't at all.

It is dependent on what other nations choose to do, not what our government does. We will see a reassertion of American dominance in terms of military and trade. Other nations are well aware of our current situation and that the American public has no stomach for war after 10 years of Iraq. Each country pushes a little bit harder, especially China. I think their resolve will be tested.

This is what people mean when they say being passive can lead to war. It's not so much that the US has gotten weaker, it's that the other countries have gotten stronger. We don't want a planet with a bunch of major players getting into a pissing match, as large scale fighting can, and may, lead to nuclear weapons being involved.

Both China and Russia are using war rhetoric. I don't know of the intentions of the Trump administration when it comes to the Russians, how they are positioning it so they get a desired response out of them. I do believe we will be forced to have a showdown with the Chinese, and it will be dependent on how they choose to respond. China has been a laughing stock on the world stage, until recently. They may actually think they can make a play to become a super power, a rival to the United States. If they think that is the case, war is inevitable.

Make no mistake, we are headed towards a showdown. Either the Chinese will realize their place or one of us will change the course of our actions for a long time to come. And yes, you are correct, the end of one of us could very well happen. We have a gargantuan advantage currently. Let's just hope the Chinese realize that and slow their roll.

A war with China is unwinnable. And it wont be just China, it will be with Russia, North Korea, Kazakhstan. Many other countries will join in and how many Allies do you think Trump can convince to come to his aid atm?

Nothing is unwinnable. It just depends on if people believe the fight is worth the cost. Just because something will hurt, doesn't mean people will decide it isn't worth it.

We can't be sure of the Russian response. If anything their best move would be to let their rivals weaken each other while their overall position strengthens. In a prolonged, bitter war between the US and China, Russia stands to gain immensely. The threat of Russia to NATO gets bigger and they know we wouldn't be able to respond as well.

Do not underestimate the positioning of other countries. While North Korea may very well help China the countries bordering China have it in their best interest to help the united States. South Korea and Japan would almost certainly wish to side with America, not to mention the Southeast Asian countries. China isn't their benevolent neighbor, you know.

Again, this is all speculation. Everything depends on what China is willing to risk. I think this adminstration will test their resolve. Their response will dictate our course of action. If China is willing to fight over disputes in the south China Sea, then I would say war is inevitible.

John Kelly is honest, accepts blame, and proves my point by saying we won't know until the "boom". You all who have argued that there have not been any attacks from refugees should watch and learn from secratary Kelly's testimony. He left the Democrats speechless and fumbling over their words.

BTW Goofball. This is how you should post. Your trying too hard to sabatage President Trump. The problem is in your hurry to do so you're posting too many links. I doubt anybody is gonna take the time to read them. Post one at a time and stop with your National Inquirer style stories. Perhaps you will be taken more seriously if you do so.

Lol. Keep believing that. Pay attention to the next news cycle when we are talking about Trump's hair products. Watch closely, my friend.

There are plenty of countries in the region whom would fight on the side of the US. They all stake claims to natural rescourses. It wouldn't be about whether or not they like Trump.

This conflict has been going on for many years. There have been a few skirmishes but nothing major. The US would beat China in a war and China knows this. The results wouldn't be good for any country involved. I say there is nearly zero chance of war even though the left will have you believe Trump is gonna start one with his rhetoric.

What was off was specific state polling in WI/MI/PA/NC/OH/IA. All 3-6pts, all in Trump's favor. Why? We'll never know. I imagine that there was at least some Shy Tory going on.
State polling was actually about as accurate as Obama/Romney too. The Michigan polls in 2016 were closer to reality than in 2012, for example. In 2012 Obama's support was understated. In 2016 it was Trump.

I suspect state polling is simply more difficult to do and is going to have a lot of variance.

lol at John Stossel:

One more smear:

"President Trump's pick to lead the Federal Communications Commission, Ajit Pai, has aggressively moved to roll back consumer protection regulations."

Consumer protection? No. Socialist idiocy.
See, the NYT is smearing Trump because John Stossell hates socialists. What an idiot.

Catching up on this thread a bit, but the assessment so far is that: directing the media to the story you'd prefer them to follow is a new and bold strategy, it's really great that Trump's government is already throwing out so many lies we can't be sure which are intentional and which aren't, and that this is all a good thing.

Seems legit to me. Don't know why anyone would be concerned.

I'm sure Hillary would have been more honest.............NOT!

I think you need to get caught up on life. Since when has anybody in government been honest?

Not often, but this is the first time I've seen putting it into overdrive put forward as a clever new strategy.
