This is false. The last national CNN poll appears to have been in the field from Oct. 20-23, and had Clinton ahead by 5 points. See here. You can confirm it via the list at fivethirtyeight.

Uh, nobody had him down 15%, but everyone was wrong on the polls. Not just CNN. And the polls were wrong because they ****ed up some swing state turnout modeling, it wasn't a lie.

Have you ever even watched CNN? I think you don't. I think your socially awkward ass just skims your subreddits and your chans for headlines and constructs ****ing fairy tales about it. LOL you didn't go to college for a reason, boy.

Yes we do. It's made out of whole cloth. It's completely fabricated. A myth. You tried to smear him and his campaign from day 1, and the more you tried, the more popular he became. He owned the media and their bias, blatant opinion-molding. Played them like a fiddle. So you all came up with this thing about russia, based on something he said about 'having a good relationship with Russia' early in the campaign. Its total nonsense, but because liberals are extremely credulous they will believe anything the media tells them so long as its against the big meanie who says mean things and looks like a big meanie.
HE FIRED MIKE FLYNN AND THEN FIRED JAMES COMEY. That **** happened in real life!

Holy ****ing ****.

First off, I was ****ing livid about that assassination. I know his name, for example. I bet writing that **** out wouldn't be something you'd be comfortable with, because you know who really didn't say **** about that?

You. Or Donald J Trump. What the ****?

Quote:
Not really. You want to live in a safe bubble of emotional coddling, and Obama allowed you to do that. Trump doesn't. This is why the whole world is turning conservative. People are desperate for integrity and truth, no matter how much it hurts. For all Trumps obvious faults he has at least followed through on a lot of his promises during his campaign, which is something I can't say about any President in my lifetime.
Trump couldn't even make it through inauguration day without lying about his crowd sizes, get the **** out of here with this weak bull****.

This is false. Quite a few polls including LA times had Trump ahead. My bad, CNN was reporting a 10 point margin prior to Comey reopening the investigation of Nov 3 or whenever it was, and then the gap closed to 5. Regardless, it was obvious to me that when all the left leaning media sources had Trump trailing Clinton by huge margins despite Trumps obviously massive support, they were wagging the dog.

Because they were the first ones to cover it, in December-January of this year. It's funny, because the entire thing was 4chan fabrication, and CNN claimed they had 'unnamed sources' then too.

Yep, and then they get removed when they realized the actual testimony all but cleared Trump of claimed FBI investigation.

Trump had much bigger and enthusiastic crowds than anyone in the campaign, including Sanders, and that was just objectively verifiable by watching the respective rallies. Of course that means little to you, because anyone that disagrees with you about Trump is a mouth-breathing moron not even worthy of a modicum of respect. [ ] regard for human life. Keep throwing temper tantrums though, and watch what little power it garnered you and your cause in the past slip away for a good long time.

LA times poll had Trump ahead. If you go back to the main forum whoever had that "model" they made even mentioned they threw out the LA times poll because he said it was flawed, lol. I also think he had Clinton at 90% to win, but I won't bother to look for it.

Complete idiocy.

The reason the countdown got removed wasn't that it hit 0 and the event it was counting down towards actually occurred?

I'm confused, did the countdown keep ticking down into negative numbers after his testimony began and then suddenly get pulled from the screen when a CNN editor was like "****, RED ALERT, THE THINGS HE'S SAYING ARE #ACTUALLY GOOD FOR TRUMP"? Can you flesh this whole bit out for us?

Do you geniuses even realize that any national poll showing Trump with a larger percentage of votes than Hillary was super wrong? The LAT/USC poll didn't come out with some state by state model showing, super accurately, that Hillary would win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote - they produced the laughably wrong prediction (making them worse than several other pollsters) of Trump 47, Hillary 44. We can check those numbers, and it turns out they were kinda bad!

The LA times poll wasn't about it being more accurate, even though it was on the right side. It was showing something the others weren't showing, and that's wide swings due to the news that was being released.

I would usually insult you at this point, but I can't really insult someone for interpreting data differently. I mean, I could, because you're habitually on the wrong side of all data because you're a ****ing idiot, but I don't want to really go there.

Trump got 46%, losing the popular vote, very much in line with the national poll averages. Also that's not what "wagging the dog" means.

Are you talking about the Steele dossier published by Buzzfeed? Buzzfeed isn't CNN and it wasn't a 4chan fabrication.

Uh, Trump himself said he was under investigation since then. This is the problem with Trump and his idiot surrogates, they spew so many kneejerk talking points they work at cross purposes. The line is generally smearing Comey as an anti-Trump hack, you moron, not saying that his testimony of Trump trying to obstruct justice vindicated him.

This also isn't true at all, the Comey testimony was a HUGE STORY even after his prepared remarks were released. Total ****ing fan fiction from <snipped objectionable insult>.

That's objective not true, the LAT poll was consistent very optimistic for Trump due to well understood sampling issues throughout the campaign. It was an outlier!

These people are like free association creative writing the very recent past like this **** isn't publicly available.

What does that actually mean? I think I remember Nate Silver actively defending the LA times poll. I do not remember the details, though.

Fly said "everyone was wrong on the polls, not just CNN" and the idiot you were agreeing with was trying (to hilarious effect) to use the very wrong LAT poll to prove Fly wrong. The bolded is, thus, completely incoherent in the context of the conversation you jumped into.

The LA times poll (and another, but right now it escapes me) showed something that the others weren't. They used very different methodology from what I remember, and I think the LA times poll was a continuous one, which was very different than the others. To complete disregard it (and whatever the **** the other one was) was... obviously wrong.

wil you aren't doing a lot better here with this "incoherence" problem. Let me explain, again, very clearly, using the exact same words as last time, what the conversation you entered into was:

Who is this even directed at, the main Politics forum guy who had a model you mentioned earlier that doesn't even post in P7? It clearly has nothing to do with Fly's post, nor mine; why are you just spouting random feelings you have on posters that don't even participate here?
07-06-2017 , 12:26 AM
Wil,

It's bizarre to point and say scoreboard in this situation. You had nothing to do with trump winning. A large majority of trump voters wouldn't consider you American. This election was about anger. Trumps policies will make that anger worse, particularly as the white lower class realizes many of the programs trump is cutting provide essential benefits to their communities. That is sad. I'm not happy about it. I like everyone to do well, even you!

Trump is not addressing the real problems of this country because he has zero idea what they are. He's not playing 4d chess. He's eating KFC with a fork for Christ sake!

And when Comey opened the case again on Clinton in early November you clowns (including CNN) said the exact opposite, which was that Comey was a trump hack, and he should resign from office or be fired!

You would have been totally on board with Comey getting fired on Nov. 3 or whatever when he reopened the Clinton case, and now you think Trumps firing of him proves Trump is guilty of some fuzzy collusion with Russia that you can't even name. The Russia thing is not only a fabrication, but you are a hypocrite with no credibility.

Barring concrete and conclusive proof of something Comey shouldn't have come out with any statement about Trump or Clinton 5 days before the election.

Is that hard to understand?

I agree I thought it was a poor choice myself, despite favoring Trump over Clinton. That however doesn't change the fact that liberals and liberal media loathed him then, and totally supported him when he potentially had something, "anything at all please God this man can't get the nuclear codes" which is blatantly hypocritical.

No one is going to respect your opinion if you are that wishy washy about your judgements of others.
