FICA is deferred income obviously. The money collected goes into trust funds to be paid out at retirement for SS and at 65 for Medicare. Makes it not a tax.

Despite the horrific event that took place in NYC today America's Greatness Meter is nearing its all-time high today. We haven't see this level of greatness since Reagan and I think we will fly past our all-time high sooner rather than later. I will admit it's very possible individuals can do very awful things, and I'm sure every Israeli isn't a pillar of virtue, but there's no way to I would take the Palestinian side over the Israeli side.

If that is what you believe, so be it. I can't make you change your mind that they don't do it on purpose. If they wanted to kill innocent Palestinians, they could. At will.
