Yeah, that one backfired on old bahbahmick right there.

If you're a trans student, you probably don't want to room with someone who says trans people are going to attack kids in restrooms. If you are a Mexican student, you are probably not going to want to room with someone who says that people from Mexico can't be judges and immigrants from Mexico are mostly rapists.

And, yes, many young conservatives don't believe those things, but who would want to take the chance? Those ideas have been endorsed at the top level of the Republican party, so it's not unfair to assume that some conservatives hold those views.
Thanks for all the examples. However, I don't think that qualifies as proof that there is more racism or hate from the right than the left.

So you think it is normal for a liberal to say they don't want to room with a conservative because the liberal believes some people in that group are worse than him/herself, because a minority of conservatives believe they are better than some other groups of people.

One story is supposedly bout a guy who shoots up a pool party because his gf broke up with him. The other is about one politicial party being more accepting of others than the other party. One is about politics and one isn't.

Superslug - lets avoid speaking in generalities about Muslims please. I've deleted your post - it's part of an off topic conversation as well.

Also, everyone can we stick to President Trump please

All of the views I mentioned are expressed by the President and/or Vice-President that conservatives voted for. If you don't want people to think you hold those views, you should pick candidates that don't hold those views.

Wil, you're a hair breadth away from another and longer timeout.
I don't understand what I've said that is so bad. I only speak truth, at least, what I believe is truth.

I dare you to find an einbert post with no context (i.e. not a reply to someone) with only a link and no explanation or quotation of what's inside; you won't.

How are you so bad at internet posting?

Uhhhh
1. This is a politics forum, the idea that anything about politics belongs in this thread means there should be no divisions between any threads ITF
2. Gun violence is most definitely a political issue, WTF are you talking about??? You got mad that it was posted here because you don't want to give a **** about it.

I am a Catholic and the pope is anti-premarital sex, anti-get hammered drunk, and anti-gambling. However, I am pro all of those things. Your logic suggests you stereotype Catholics as anti all those things since our leader is anti those things?

A small minority of elected catholic officials, known as priests, raped boys. Using your logic this means you think it is okay for non-Catholics to say Catholics are rapists?

Let me be more specific: one topic is relevant to trump because those that don't want to see America become great again have called those who want to see America become great again narrow minded and unaccepting and this study has shown that it is in fact the liberals who are narrow minded. The whole idea of being accepting of others has become far more popular since trump entered politics.

Gun safety is a political topic but it is better suited for another thread.

Those who "want to see America become great again" have a differing opinion on preventing gun violence than those who "don't want to see America become great again". Trump spoke at the NRA last week. Sorry snowflake, it's just as relevant to this thread (which is not to say it's all that relevant, your post was dumb too) as what you posted.

This is why you elect a master negotiator. Trump has turned things around and it looks like wes gonna repeal and replace Obama Care!!!

BTW...Susan Rice is refusing to testify before the Senate. Gee I wonder why?

I havent been active in this forum because I knew the Pres had some things in the works. How stupid and small do all those spams look now? I have a feeling things will be awfully quiet here. This is just the beginning. We are seeing the collapse of the Democratic party befote our eyes! It's glorious!!!!

Trump can't even get Duterte to accept his invite to the White House

Trump the "master negotiator" said Republicans should threaten to shut down the government unless his wall was funded and then came up with the idea of trading border wall funds for Obamacare funds; in the end, there was no shutdown and Trump got no wall money

Trump doesn't even know what provisions are in the bill - which, it should be noted, still has a long way to go before it can possibly be signed into law - but we're supposed to believe he's involved in the negotiations for it?

What's it like to go through life needing constant fact-checking on even the most basic aspects of your posts? Did Hannity tell you the things in your post last night?

This is what we mean by spamming. Posting stories you haven't even read. Duarte hates America because of Obama. Trump is trying to get dialogue between the countries because there is a little situation brewing in the region. Duarte has to walk a fine line before accepting this invitation because of his ties with China.

Notice how the NY Times wants to make it look like no one wants to play with Trump.

We need to start calling these people out. Spammers beware.

Alveda King, MLK’s niece: ‘I voted for Mr. Trump’

Prominent conservative activist Alveda King, the niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., revealed Monday that she cast a vote for President-elect Donald Trump.
Ms. King, a former Georgia state representative who now serves as director for Civil Rights for the Unborn and Gospel of Life Ministries, told American Thinker that she’s been praying for Mr. Trump and his adversaries to unite and work together.
It's very likely that the sole, or at least main, driving force behind this was her pro-life stance. The biggest single-issue voting bloc in this country is the anti-abortion crowd.

Why is that an unreasonable assumption? I admit it's going to be wrong a lot of the time, especially with younger Republicans, but it's based on a legitimate point.

I'm not talking about a small minority here. I'm talking about common Republican beliefs.

Conservatives here, I'm sure you all remember how much you haaaaaated Nancy Pelosi and her "we have to pass the bill to find out what's in it" comment, right?

So, uh, speaking of that, can any of you link me to the text of the bill that the House of Representatives is voting on tomorrow? Or a link to the CBO score so that we know the fiscal impact? I can't find one.
05-04-2017 , 01:14 AM
Hey goofy, what do you think of Liz Warren for POTUS 2020?

I think she'd be perfect.
05-04-2017 , 02:12 AM
The funny thing about Liz Warren 2020 is that she'd do 500% more for the poor white working class than Donald Trump (who is ****ing over California lemon farmers from the super red part of the state, and is threatening changes to NAFTA that would severely affect the millions of truck drivers in the US - and that's just from the last day!) ever will, but they'll still vote against her anyway because rich GOP senators that got elected through donations from huge corporations will tell the plebs she's a terrifying socialist, and they'll believe them.

I don't have a strong opinion on her though, would probably prefer someone else.

What do you think about the GOP ramming through the healthcare vote tomorrow, and intentionally doing so before anyone knows what the **** is in it?

Of course they don't care. We all know they don't care.
05-04-2017 , 07:44 AM
The last four months have shown us a lot, and the main thing is they've shown that Republicans care about very very little except ****ing over black and brown people and cutting taxes for the very wealthy.
