Trump puts the moron in oxymoron in regards to the expression: "leader of the free world."

Yeah, and you have admitted your participation in a politics forum is for the immature glorification of other people's misery. So please consider remaining not in government.

That is correct. And now that they have an incredibly mediocre person to look up to as President, their mediocrity is fully legitimized to the world. People like wil don't have to be ashamed of the fact that they refuse to think critically about anything at all, but instead they can find many likeminded people (Republicans) they can revel with in their misery and moral nihilism. This helps to explain why many self-described "liberals" support Trump. They may be liberal on some level, but at the end of the day their moral nihilism and disdain for minorities, immigrants, intelligence, and critical thinking in general is the dominating factor of their personalities, while the tertiary "liberal" part of their personalities can easily be discarded whenever it's convenient.

Stuff like this is one major reason Trump can not be considered leader of the free world:

It's all that ball-tingling insanity we thought wasn't really real before the election, like when that video was posted talking about voter IDs and the clown interviewed a bunch of black folk in the heart of NY, like probably a block or 2 from the DMV. Yeah, sure, ok, sure.

Trump admin forced into apologizing to UK for GCHQ comments, and tell UK they will not repeat the claims.

Trump has the ego and temperament of a child and regularly pisses off our allies for no reason and with zero gain (he's such a great dealmaker), but those liberal tears taste so sweet!

WaPo publishes an opinion piece of obvious satire in their "ComPost" section titled: "Trump’s budget makes perfect sense and will fix America, and I will tell you why"

Quote:
This budget will make America a lean, mean fighting machine with bulging, rippling muscles and not an ounce of fat. America has been weak and soft for too long. BUT HOW WILL I SURVIVE ON THIS BUDGET? you may be wondering. I AM A HUMAN CHILD, NOT A COSTLY FIGHTER JET. You may not survive, but that is because you are SOFT and WEAK, something this budget is designed to eliminate.
The Trump administration, because they are very very stupid and don't know what satire is, link to it in their daily report as a positive news piece:

Just the best people.

Well now at least the news isn't FAKE anymore.....

Opinion piece by an Indian author and immigrant, reflecting on the racism he's faced (even in liberal Austin, Texas) and what it means in the age of Trump:

Quote:
But what I experienced in my first week there [in Austin] was neither liberal nor weird: A landlady ignored my queries. A post had gone up on Craigslist describing a perfect small place in the pretty, largely white, downtown neighborhood of Clarksville; I responded seconds after it appeared. I got no reply, not even when I tried a day later.

I understood. This is the life of an Indian on Craigslist. But now I had a white girlfriend. Suspecting racism, she decided to apply. She got a response immediately.

HHS Sec. Price appears clueless about what's in the Ryancare bill in CNN interview

I mean, it's only his job to know these things, right? Sean Spicer put it on a table next to the Obamacare bill and told us how small and simple and easy to understand it was!

Quote:
“In your bill, there is a tax break for health-care company executives who make over $500,000 a year,” said CNN’s Dana Bash. “Why do health-care CEOs need a tax break?”

“Yeah, I don’t think it stipulates that it’s health-care executives,” Price said. “I think it’s the level of income. If it’s health-care executives, then I’ll take a peek at it. It doesn’t make any sense.”

“It is,” Bash said. “I mean, it’s in there. It talks about — I have it right here.”
lol

Irish Prime Minister uses St. Patrick's Day meeting to lecture Trump on immigration, demand action and protection for the 50,000 illegal Irish immigrants in the US

Quote:
“There are millions out there who want to play their part for America — if you like, who want to make America great,” he said, shooting Mr. Trump a pointed gaze as he appropriated the president’s campaign slogan. “You heard that before?” he said, to nervous titters.

Mr. Kenny did not refer to Mr. Trump’s travel ban on visitors from six predominantly Muslim countries, which is now tied up in court. He stuck to the issue that has long preoccupied Irish officials: the estimated 50,000 Irish who are living in the United States illegally, and who are at risk of being deported if Mr. Trump delivers on his campaign pledge to round up undocumented immigrants.

“We would like this to be sorted,” Mr. Kenny said, calling for these people to be given a path to citizenship. “It would remove a burden of so many that they could now stand in the light and say, ‘Now I’m free to contribute to America as I know I can.’ That’s what people want.”

“All they want is the opportunity to be free,” he added, choking up momentarily.

Live update time! In press conference with Merkel, Trump refuses to back away from GCHQ comments, blames Fox News for giving him the idea in the first place

Quote:
“We said nothing,” Mr. Trump told a German reporter who asked about the matter at a joint White House news conference with Chancellor Angela Merkel. “All we did was quote a certain very talented legal mind who was the one responsible for saying that on television. I didn’t make an opinion on it. You shouldn’t be talking to me about it. You should be talking to Fox.”
This is the president putting his own fragile ego ahead of the interests of the country. But the liberal tears taste so sweet!

The White House is not like how Trump's had it in his negotiations. Much hinges on these relationships continuing to be fruitful. It's not as though Trump can just sour a relationship with the Brits and say, "oh good game, I'll just take my business somewhere else". His negotiation style doesn't cross-over as one might have hoped.

In his previous experience, his ego and his interests overlapped. He can't cope to new environments because he's just not that intelligent, and adapted well to New York, and making the world around him more like New York. His best bet is to move the White House to New York, LOL.

I mean, if a diplomat had a long conversation with Trump over China, he'd gladly tell you all the ways Beijing is wonderful, but it would be more wonderful if it were more like Trump Enterprises! And, there perhaps should be Trump Tea, etc. A fly on that wall would just assume drop dead in bordom.
