Has Medicare been cut? Nope
Has Social Security been cut? Nope
Has Medicaid been cut? Nope.
Until any of these actually happen he hasn't lied about this alleged promise.
About this CBO report, I seem to remember posting a link to a CBO report on how raising the minimum wage would cost 500,000 jobs. I also remember some push back that the CBO was wrong in its estimates by some posters. Now with this CBO report on Ryan's bill it seems to be that the CBO report should be taken at face value. Should we be as skeptical of this CBO report on Ryan's bill as we are about the CBO report on increasing the minimum wage?
Personally, I don't think Ryan's Bill has any chance at all to get through Congress. I'm pretty sure the Republicans are positioning themselves to have the Democrats defend the continuation of Obamacare as is. The Republicans will claim they have proposed improvements but the Democrats have rejected every one and are entrenched in continuing Obamacare as is. The Democrats have lost a lot of ground since they passed Obamacare. There are people who are claiming Obamacare is actually popular. It might be but it doesn't seem like it is.
