From what I see of it on the news and videos you can keep it, dog.

I'm sure there are extremely nice areas there but I'll stay domestic. Thanks.

Re: President Trump

Yeah. It's funny the how many rich and famous people swore they would leave the country, and they have the means to actually do it, and were like "lol, jk".

I've been to Europe twice. It's neat to see the historical sights. There are way too many sketchy people for my taste. The cities are pretty gross and not well taken care of. I get it's an old place. I agree with Will on this one.

Sketchy people are everywhere. In Europe they don't usually have guns, unlike the kids mucking around in a street near the hotel in SF when I stayed there.

Again, I'm very busy so I won't be around much anymore.

That's off the coast of Spain right?

If she lied about it under oath, yes.

Are you aware of Fast and Furious? Do you know people were murdered by these weapons?

Seems like some of those things would have caused plenty of Einbert outrage, and yet not a peep?

Shocking.
looooooooooooool

Dan is trying to learn. Still not one(1) post disagreeing with Trump or his supporters on substance, ever, but he thinks he can judo flip the "reading his posts" trick.

But when he tries, whoops, he reveals his exclusively right-wing reading list by listing Fast and Furious as Holder's big scandal.

Mexican drug cartels would have been gunless if not for Fast & Furious.

It is funny that Dan brings that up. That used to be enough for massive Congressional outrage, one (very poorly conceived) sting operation going sideways!

We're going to miss the Obama faux-scandals. A simpler time.

Re: President Trump

Like all that **** seems like a dream now. Even going farther back, remember when Terry Schiavo was a huge national story? One end-of-life decision, debated on CSPAN for weeks.

Crazy.

http://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2003/10/flor-o31.html
Quote:
Florida Governor Jeb Bush issued an order on October 21 directing doctors to resume life support to vegetative patient Terri Schiavo. The order came six days after Schiavo had been taken off feeding tubes. Jeb Bush—the brother of President George W. Bush—acted in accordance with a statute passed that day by the state legislature giving him the authority to overrule a court decision.

At his October 28 press conference, President Bush said he supported the actions of his brother in the Schiavo case.

Terri Schiavo is once again being artificially fed. Her husband, Michael Schiavo, who fought in court for the right to remove the feeding tubes, will file a suit this week challenging the constitutionality and legality of the new statute and Jeb Bush’s order. Michael Schiavo has been opposed by Terri’s biological family, which has sought to block the removal of the feeding tubes.
Remember, this is supposed to be the compassionate and/or reasonable wing of the Republican party. Truth is it's just vicious cruelty all the way down.

http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/nadeem-...b_3733080.html
I live in the UK and believe we have a much superior health care system than in the US. It has its negatives sure but so does the American system. Here no one will ever be priced out of receiving health care, living in one of the wealthiest countries in the world and not having money to pay for basic health care seems barbaric to me.

Mind you I did have to wait 3 months for an operation one time....... an ACL injury but the fact that I got my knee reconstructed which allowed me continue playing football and led to me living a higher standard of life was pretty class.

The guy who reconstructed my knee is one of the best knee surgeons in the UK , he also fixed one of my sporting heroes broken leg which was pretty cool. Guy called Henrik Larson who was one of the biggest legends to play for one the the UKs biggest football clubs. So its a bit of a myth that you get crap doctors when going with public health , alot of them do private as well.

Many people living in the states would have not have had that option and bear in mind this wasnt a life threatening injury or even one that would have impacted my day to day life. Just one that allowed me to continue to play sports.

This is very anecdotal I understand but if you are struggling for money you are much better off living in a country which offers free health care and if you are rich here you can go private anyway or even buy health insurance if you would rather do that.

If you don't have money or coverage Europe is probably better. If you have coverage or money, US better.

In the UK both is possible. I would rather have that safety net to protect the more vulnerable in society as we have in the UK.

Maybe that's how you prefer it, but the US has the best hospitals and doctors in the world. It's not an opinion.

Which populace is safer and better protected health wise though and at less risk from preventable disease and illness?

You could have pristine hospitals with gold plated toilet seats and the best doctors in the wold if it is not affordable to the general populace or the poorest in society then it is irrelevant.

Why should I care about how great the hospital down the road is if I can't afford the ambulance to take me there?

The problem with "USA is great if you have lots of money" is yeah, of course it is. But so is everywhere else in the world.

This statement is blatantly false.
