OK, OK, serious time:

Somebody please tell wil, and you don't even need to quote this as that might trigger him, but, somebody please tell wil that the 'best' school is some sort of gifted-magnet public school that bases admission on a childIQ test and/or some sort of tailored test (my elementary school had a test that was very similar to but not actually an IQ test), not some 5figure private school.

Private school is where rich people send their dumbass kids to cheat the system.

Sadly, with wil as a parent she probably won't make the cut but it would be a sin to not explore this route, simply due to wil's neurosis behind not wanting to face the fact he might have a dumbass kid from dumb genes on his hands.
