That's like asking her to not collect Social Security when she retires (not that it'll be there in 40 years, but still). What a stupid and small minded argument.

The government set that rule, she's just playing by it. Shame Obama couldn't make it affordable for her to buy her own insurance.

You do realize that there are many Americans who don't WANT to be like Europeans, right?

I don't mean to be a meany-face about this, but when I look at European countries I do not envy them. I'm sure they feel the same way about us. Yes, we don't have universal healthcare and our public education is terrible, etc, but in the end what makes us different from Europeans is a good thing, not a bad thing.

I'm sure it's nice over there and they live a more relaxed life. Good for them. They can keep it.

I'm pretty sure we could have a good education system and universal healthcare and you could still be properly 'Merican and like not have to wear a scarf to the football match or take a month of vacation a year or whatever it is that is objectionable about being European.
