This isn't just "the YouTubez" - this is Senate Testimony in Canada.

However, here are links to the gist of the arguments.

I'll give you the wiki article then:

"The bill is intended to protect individuals from discrimination within the sphere of federal jurisdiction and from being the targets of hate propaganda,[4] as a consequence of their gender identity or their gender expression."

Peterson's concerns:

Do you think it stops at 1? How many would be acceptable to you?

Also - what do you think of doctors "mis-assigning" your gender at birth?

What's trump got to do with it?

In other, "Still not the President" news, Hillary's book is coming out. Twitter should be a lot of fun today (especially after the DNC got all that help with their new slogan):

I've read this stuff and the law doesn't seem to do what you or Jordan Peterson claim it does.

What? I don't know, but you posted that article and claimed it showed that "Canada was going sexless for babies" as if there was some policy shift that actually did this. The article didn't say anything like that.

It seems relatively unlikely.

Are you saying that publishing a book makes her the president? What?

No, just reminding us how great it is that this is still not the case.

The way Democrats attack Trump, you'd think Dems think she's next in line of succession.

So your position apparently includes "it is likely for doctors to misidentify a baby's gender"
07-27-2017 , 01:24 PM
JiggyMac, since you believe that it is likely that a doctor will misidentify a child's sex at birth, why do you support sex on birth certificates? Surely it will be costly to correct all of the inevitable mistakes?
07-27-2017 , 01:43 PM
So we are free to misrepresent by using quotes? Oki doki.

I believe you are missing the point here.

The current "thought" within the Transgender community is that a the Doctor is "mis-assigning" your gender a birth - as a matter of procedure.

As in - they look at your genitals, see a penis, call you a boy....and they're wrong.

This is how the activists LITERALLY frame the debate. As in - you are born without gender because it is a social construct, and you should "discover" your gender as you grow up, regardless of your chromosomes or what is between your legs.

How do you respond to someone who thinks like this?

I disagree with them.

Jiggy has no idea what to do with your response lmao

There then are bridges too far within transgender activism then, yes?

Birth certificates recording biology is your line...

How do you feel about parents pressuring children to become transgender?

Puberty blockers for kids? Is puberty optional?

And I want to ask you one more question - do you believe there are differences (good, bad or otherwise).....just differences, between men and women? Straight yes or no...(and I'm not talking about equality, just differences).

Sounds like bad parenting.

Literally never heard of this ****. Sounds like it's probably a bad idea.

Yes.

Sounds like tilted actually agrees with our side.

And yes, people take puberty blockers. It's the hormones that cbange your body, so they supress it.

It's.... Not good.
07-27-2017 , 02:22 PM
If you wonder why we draw the line at women who don't want dudes in their bathrooms, this is why....

It's kind of also why we didn't really care before and were fine with the "Call it like you see it".

But when the activists wanted laws, well...they got laws alright.

Everybody was like "be cool, you do you", but the activists decided "This is why we can't nice things".
