Being corrected by people that "couldn't make a point sharp enough to pierce a wet paper bag" doesn't embarrass you? LOL, I guess maybe the other alternative is that you just have no shame for spewing unlimited stupidity all over these boards

Uh-oh. The phantom post deleter has been at it again.

One Jiggy post has been deleted for a NC objectionable insult - a PM has been sent as well.

NOW TAKE NOTE PLEASE (not related to the above)

Anyone discussing transgender issues needs to be respectful towards transgender people and avoid objectionable claims. A lot has been let go but dont expect warnings before timeouts follow if you re-offend.

From your own cited article:

"That said, the term "jobs report" refers to a monthly news release by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the unemployment rate is only one of two headline numbers in those reports. The other one is the gain or loss in jobs compared to the previous month’s number.

That second number, while solid, is not "the best" in 16 years.

According to the June 2017 report, the economy gained 222,000 jobs. That’s the 52nd-best monthly performance out of the 193 months since June 2001."

Oops.

By the way, Trump's unemployment number went to 4.4% from whatever it was Obama had it down to, probably 4.8% or 4.9%. Obama got there after Bush saddled him with 10+%.

Go find a Trump voter, maybe they can explain humor to you.

Ya and I'm for less centralized government, not more, so I disagree with that outcome. If it doesn't violate the constitution, it shouldn't be illegal. What is illegal is stripping away states rights and giving them to the federal government without a constitutional amendment.

You kind of have to develop a sense of humor when your hero turns out to be completely senile.

Why?

When I want to have a laugh, I just pop over to alpha and read some of the hilarious delusional crap that those imbeciles post on a regular basis.

It's quite mind boggling what happens in an echo-chamber.

I almost went in on Sushy and was going to earn a ban but thought better of it. Slice up bro, slice up.

Go for it bro/sis. We don't ban here.

This is the adults forum.

But the central government gets to order San Francisco to have its police force enforce federal laws?

I'm sorry I don't understand your question. The Supremacy clause establishes that laws issued by the federal government (US criminal code) have supremacy over others. So long as that law does not override explicitly granted states (and thus, municipal) rights within the constitution, I believe they're legal and binding on San Fransisco and its police force.

Of course I am no lawyer so I have no clue if what I'm saying is right or not.

Apparently you don't know what Sanctuary cities are. There's nothing the sanctuary cities have done that changes immigration law. The cities are just saying that their local police forces are not going to enforce federal law. I would think that you would support cities being able to choose what they do with their own staff.

Federal law may take precedence but that does not mean that local law enforcement is obliged to take orders from federal law enforcement.

But I'm granting you too much. This legal argument is b*******. On principle you like local control and do not like centralized power. That's what you said.
