It'll be nothing very shortly. This virtual hard on is weird.
I sure hope so. Then he can get back to taking healthcare away from poor rural Americans and getting rid of the estate tax. Maga!

Clearly some things are proven false. That is different from "no evidence other than one person's statement."
Oh, fine, I agree "no evidence" is more accurate than "false" but I don't think we should be giving much credence to uncorroborated accusations made by randoms.

In the case of Trump Jr., we know the meeting happened and he lied about it multiple times.

Interesting angle on the meeting story.

https://www.circa.com/story/2017/07/...denied-us-visa

Was it all a set-up?
07-11-2017 , 07:45 PM
fwiw Circa is an arm of Sinclair Broadcasting and thus quite conservative. But re: "was it a set-up"...what is the accusation in there, exactly? Or more succinctly, what is the alleged "set-up"?
07-11-2017 , 07:51 PM
Here is the alleged set-up, from the Circa article Sushy cited.

Quote:
“We have learned from both our own investigation and public reports that the participants in the meeting misrepresented who they were and who they worked for,” said Mark Corallo, a spokesman for President Trump’s legal team. “Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier. "

"These developments raise serious issues as to exactly who authorized and participated in any effort by Russian Nationals to influence our election in any manner,” Corallo said.
[Emphasis added].

I ask because adios posted that same article with the same accusation in Alpha, and took a different angle with his version of the "set-up" (emphasis added):

Russian Lawyer Background

So who in the Obama administration gave her the special permission to enter the USA? We'll see what the affidavit states I suspect soon enough.
So I'm curious what Sushy is referring to because neither makes a ton of sense. Re: what you bolded pdox, that article isn't providing any new information, that's Trump's lawyer making an outlandish statement to defend his client.
07-11-2017 , 07:58 PM
I guess it's tbd, but I'm still leaning toward nothing to see here, with an emphasis on my early statement that I need more info on how if ever this has been enforced in the past.
07-11-2017 , 08:11 PM
it is in fact evidence of criminal conspiracy. whether it leads to evidence of electric chair treason, we still don't know at this point. i'm looking forward to a thorough investigation

There is so obviously more that is known here by the special counsel, the media, the committees than what the gen pub knows at this point. Don't operate under the assumption that we know everything they know. There is more there there. Much more. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

This is exactly why I didn't post any sources or even look at any in the gender pay gap thread. You toss **** out without even looking at it, because you're biased against conservative media and conservatives like I expected. Now it's obvious, you're quite literally just a liberal mouthpiece and not concerned with constructive dialogue in any way.

If this ends up being linked to Fusion GPS (you know, the fake pee dossier firm), this will become an even bigger joke.

Dershowitz has finally weighed in:

Brit Hume made a fair point - both sides thought the other was colluding with Russia. Huh, funny that.

America is certainly learning more about its government and getting the civics lesson it so desperately needed.

Literally in the post you quoted I asked what the "set-up" was that the article was alleging, because the article text (which I read and did not toss out without looking at) does not make at all clear what kind of "set-up" might have occurred. In literally my next post after the one you quoted, I mention that the article has been posted elsewhere on 2+2 and asked again about its content, which doesn't sound like what someone "tossing out" an article would do!

And yet again, we have a situation where your disingenuous trolling is contributing to the problem rather than being part of any solution. Earlier today another conservative poster literally called WaPo "propaganda" in the course of ignoring one of their articles and you said nothing. Instead, you took aim at a liberal poster who pointed out that another article was from a conservative source (something you likely didn't know, because who the **** has heard of "Circa"?) and then engaged with the content of that article anyway!

Because, again, this wasn't about the quality of discourse the last time you got your panties in a twist, and it isn't about rejecting sources now. It's about the fact that you hate liberals and want any excuse for attacking them, and you're so bad at hiding it.

So, for about the seventeenth time here: could you please try to not be so wrong, like, every time you post, dumbass?

I guess it's not "all" propaganda, just most of it.

^ Amusingly, I think JM has now posted more opinion pieces from WaPo than I ever have, but DoOrDoNot raged at me earlier for posting an article checking facts

(edit: whoops, fake news, we're tied - I posted a conservative Jennifer Rubin piece once to laugh at Trump)

Pretty compliant to just give up to a foreign interest. Instead of Russians involved, it were illegal undocumented farm workers, trumpists be banning grandma in the zest to get em.
07-11-2017 , 09:43 PM
Trumpkins,

Why did lil don lie about this meeting over and over again?

Just lol at carrying water for this buffoon. Back up for a second and realize what you are doing morons.
07-11-2017 , 09:52 PM
You got 'nuffin.
07-11-2017 , 09:56 PM
So Docile. Just give it away, huh.
07-11-2017 , 10:05 PM
Don was straight up on Hannity. He has been super transparent. This is again a bunch of nothing.

Lets talk about how Linda Sarsour wants to wage Jihad against our government. I'd say this constitutes treason. If found guilty she will be put to death.
07-11-2017 , 10:06 PM
