In what way is bush smarter?

Kushner not having ivy league SAT/GPA is not nearly as damning as the fact that he's in his 30s with no relevant experience and is a senior adviser.

Those scores matter for schools to keep it meritocratic but getting top grades and acing the SAT is almost entirely about how competitive you're willing to be, and it's understandable why someone in his position wouldn't want to jump through the hoops necessary to compete with people who're hungrier.
