Incorrect.

It does mean a lot in actual fact.

You can only be prosecuted for perjury if you intentionally lie to congress.

microbet,

I hate Third Way fake liberals and apologists for the corporatists.

We are currently in Trump land because of them. Sorry bud.

Pray tell what AG has done more for civil rights than Eric Holder, WhatAboutDan.
03-05-2017 , 10:12 PM
I wasn't spending energy criticizing Eric Holder during that time period because I was criticizing Alabama's heinous overcrowded prison system, among other things. Real actual problems that liberals care about.
03-05-2017 , 10:15 PM
Some other things I've been pushing for the last few years:

-rise in national minimum wage
-better labor rights for people to organize and strike
-paid sick leave
-paid family leave
-free public university

So no I haven't had time to criticize Eric Holder, the most progressive Attorney General to ever hold the office, for making some mistakes while fighting for the cause of civil rights throughout his tenure and winning a lot of important battles.
03-05-2017 , 10:17 PM
Don't think his "mistakes" stemmed from fighting for civil rights bud.

Holding your own side accountable and having moral consistency is a tough thing to do, but it is kind of important.

That is how wall street criminals end up prosecuted ya know?

That is how "some mistakes" don't happen. Morality

Eric Holder was part of a big problem imo having more to do with helping maintain US Empire in Central and South America than ethics violations or a gun running sting that went bad.

But, neither here nor there. Einbert was fighting against Third Way Democrats before the conventions, he's fighting against New Way Fascists now and he may well be the most dedicated and valuable freedom fighter and poster on 2p2.

I am going to delete a crapload of personal-attacky posts from today (and I do mean crapload).

I don't suppose it will do any good, but consider this a FINAL WARNING.

I will be monitoring the thread tonight and any additional zero-content name-calling posts will result in timeouts. And it does not matter "who started it".

Trying to call out einbert for Eric holder while ignoring the current president is a poor discussion tactic.

Stick to the issues.

1) Russia
2) Russia
3) Russia
4) Russia
5) Is Ivanka more or less attractive than she was in December

Oh, so the 1st example doesn't even qualify. Sweet.

I'm sure the next 15 do qualify though, right? This is just more of that lvl70 advanced triple-reverse-trolling?

Continue to deny the obvious though as you do regularly. Intellectual dishonesty does describe your position accurately. Dan is right.
BroadwaySushy, the response above the quote means I'm not responding directly to you, for future reference.

Lol.

You don't even have the NFL over there. You only have soccer..."yeah, we won 1 to 0"...ugh! It's like they have a different word for everything in some places of Europe and Canada. People immigrate there because it's close and it's easy to get in. I'm sure if the US was closer, they would all come here.
Lol what on earth makes you think they don't want to move away? There have been enough posters just on this forum asking about the possibility of emigrating to Canada, Europe or Oz/NZ.

Why would anyone want to live in a 'socialist society'? Lol again. Socialism doesn't exist in Europe, and having a stronger social security net and friendlier employment laws doesn't imply socialism, but it does make for a far better work/life balance than you have in the US with your paltry 10 days holiday p.a.

The rest of your incoherent gobbledegook is just a pile of ranting about sport which doesn't fall in your favour either, if billions of sports fans around the world are anything to go by.

People from the US travel for health care all the time. It's very common here in SoCal to go to Tijuana, especially for dental procedures because so few people have dental insurance. There are hospitals in SE Asia that people travel to as well.

Just google "medical tourism". It's all about Americans trying to go somewhere to find good affordable health care. Croatia seems to be a big medical destination.

All Americans want to live in Europe!

Put the straw man away wil.

Non-americans talking about America is always amusing.

Many of us have been to the US because we love travelling; most of you haven't been to Europe because you don't.

I would like a citation or retraction, given that this is a content thread, on Canada having problems with terrorism and immigration. Then again, this dude can't even spell "Surgery" correctly and has no idea about the intricacies of the Canadian healthcare system.
I used to work at a resort were thousands of Canadians would stay because they were going to American doctors. They said the healthcare in Canada is a joke. They would much rather pay for something good. It's just opinion, but a lot of them.

BTW...who pay's for your free healthcare?

No, I think it's because Europe is a dump.

I personally don't like travelling but I can see why Europeans do. If I was stuck there in that hellhole I couldn't wait to see the USA either.

Shrug.

You've never been to Europe, so your opinion is, as usual, invalid.

Your argument is that many posters in this forum have talked about emigrating? Stop..I'm gonna pee my pants! You mean the folks who said they are gonna leave the country if Trump won, but never did? Ha ha ha ha!

Europe used to be a nice place to visit, but not anymore. You have too many issues at the moment. I'm gonna vacation in the states this year. In fact, I'll be in sunny Arizona in a week to play some golf and Poker. I hope to see you guys at Talking Stick. I'll be at the 20/40 or 40/80 if they have it.
