Are there any polls etc indicating how much popular support Trump has these days? you know, with a decent sample size?

December 23: Trump lambasts Obama administration for allowing Israeli settlement censure to pass in UN

Quote:
Mr. Trump, who had urged the administration to veto the resolution, has made clear that he will take a far more sympathetic approach to Israel when his administration assumes office on Jan. 20.

Mr. Trump’s comments on the resolution amounted to his most direct intervention on United States foreign policy during his transition to power. Minutes after the Security Council vote was announced, Mr. Trump made his anger known in a Twitter posting, saying: “As to the U.N., things will be different after Jan. 20th.”
Quote:
Israel’s ambassador, Mr. Danon, who had exhorted the American delegation to block the measure, expressed his anger in a statement that looked forward to a change in policy under Mr. Trump.
February 2: Trump tells Israel to stop building settlements

Quote:
President Trump, who has made support for Israel a cornerstone of his foreign policy, shifted gears on Thursday and for the first time warned the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold off new settlement construction.

“While we don’t believe the existence of settlements is an impediment to peace, the construction of new settlements or the expansion of existing settlements beyond their current borders may not be helpful in achieving that goal,” the White House said in a statement.
I actually think this is a good decision, but holy mother of god what a flip flop

Join the "Fascism Forever" club, founded by Orange Hitler's new SCOTUS pick!

But always make sure to yell "hyperbole!" really loud whenever anyone warns of fascism creep.

I'd say 53% is pretty good.

How many years ago was that?

Do you suppose he has changed his views since then?

I wonder why Obama and Clinton supported him in 2006?

So would other people who are dumb enough to think polls are a grab bag where you just pick the one you like the best to represent your reality.

For comparison, here's Obama leaving office:

Trump has the lowest approval and highest disapproval for an incoming president for as long as they've measured it.

Speaking of fake news:

Kellyanne made this up and Rand Paul is repeating it, there's no such thing as an attempted bombing of Bowling Green, Kentucky. They're lying to a gullible public to try to buy their support for the immigration ban. Conservatives in this country are so dumb it will probably work.

What exactly is the approval for?

Withdrawing troops from Iraq instead of negotiating a deal to keep them there thus allowing the the swift growth of Isis.."the JV ream"?......uh no!

Supporting the over throw of Mubarick in Egypt thus allowing the Muslim Brotherhood to come into power?....I don't think so

Drawing a line in the sand and then doing NOTHING when Syria used chemical weapons?..... lol!

The success of Obama Care? Pause pause pause NOT!!!

Bringing the country together? Nope!

The Iran nuclear deal? Stop, I'm gonna pee my pants!!

Adding 13 million more people on food stamps...bringing the total to 48
million? No!

I could continue but I think you get the point. The reason is 98% ish of black people voted for Obama. Do you think when polled they are going to say he failed? Do you think if 90% of the media was conservative like it is liberal, his ratings would be so high?

Please educate me about how successful Obama was.

Kellyanne misspoke. She later corrected what she meant to say.

Nice try fella!

I'd say 36 is awful. Barely a third of Americans approve of Trump. Wow.

Why are you disparaging the beliefs of real Americans?

Either pathological lying is infectious, or the trump administration is a conspiracy of deceit.
02-03-2017 , 11:05 AM
Or monoasdas is taking advantage of a non triangle thread to lie his ass off.
02-03-2017 , 11:39 AM
Using appeal to popularity to discredit Trump is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I don't care to get into a debate in this thread litigating the individual points of that which I'm sure you fundamentally disagree with (I recall your performance in the voter ID thread and I'm sure you think the justice system is colorblind and I'm awful for suggesting it's not), but you asked what I think and why so there it is.
I wouldn't say repubs are destroying welfare, but I do think it is fair to say they are hoping to decrease the demand for welfare with pro growth policies.

Increasing barriers to vote doesn't seriously effect the AA population. I am asking about AA as a whole so try not to focus on 20-25 (or whatever this number is) African Americans who want to vote but can't because they don't have an ID.

Just like voter ID laws, people mis-quoting crime statistics, isn't a big deal when looking at the bigger picture on how to best help African Americans. I think most African Americans would rather have a job than have someone they have never met mis-quote a crime stat or someone else they have never met who wouldn't vote can all of a sudden can vote.

Instead of sitting around and doing nothing in the white house, like obama did, I think trump will realize that black lives matter and will put a real focus on decreasing the black murders. He has already shown more interest in this issue with his Chicago tweet than obama did in 8 years.

Do people actually think that destroying welfare is harmful to blacks? Apart from ending the drug war, removing welfare is one of the best things that could happen for blacks.

huh? seems that our country is more divided than ever before. I asked my parents, who lived through that error, and they said that its not even close.

I suppose that is to be expected when a major political party gives up any pretense of following democratic norms and standards. its expected when an entire media empire is created to promote fake news and ppl willingly believe it bc it advances and promotes their personal feelings while the other group prefers to deal in pesky facts.

Mongo is truly hopeless. One post after crowing over Trump's sorry approval rating he discredits Obama's better rating because he doesn't like Obama's policies, therefore the numbers are irrelevant.

Facts literally do not matter to these people.
