I believe they have a typical articles-per-month paywall or something like that; to get around it you could try a private browser window, or I think I've heard with the WSJ (maybe wapo too) you can paste the link into google and they won't paywall people coming from google search results. It appears the mission was compromised by drone or other aircraft sounds, a tactical mistake, if we have the right information, but very unclear/unlikely that any blame (for casualties???) could be put on Trump.

Obama's team planned this, and they just wanted to wait until the next moonless night, after Obama's term ended. I'd actually like to give Obama credit for this success.
