I'm not spinning anything. Trump said he's done better than other GOP candidates "in the past years". I'm not sure exactly how many years is "in the past years", but if it is 11 or less than he is telling the truth.

lolgoofy - doubling down on an article that makes a claim, shows a table that proves their claim false and then sticks by their initial claim.

It appears I need to be a WaPo subscriber to read some of those links, goofyballer.

I believe they have a typical articles-per-month paywall or something like that; to get around it you could try a private browser window, or I think I've heard with the WSJ (maybe wapo too) you can paste the link into google and they won't paywall people coming from google search results. Or if you have Amazon Prime I think you get like 6 months free to subscribe.

How many of this newest batch of links openly contradict themselves and show statistics to prove they are wrong?

goofyballer, less links and more explanation of how "a few" > 11.

Why is "a few" in quotes? Aren't quote marks supposed to be used for words that people actually said?

Trump pretended that it was an accomplishment for him to do better with black people than the only two GOP candidates in history that ran against a black person (and worse than all the rest). You want to carry water for him. I get it.

I don't post here to get bogged down in endless arguments where you whine about the media treating him unfairly, but I certainly do understand why you would want to do that to distract from all the news about what a terrible president and incompetent moron Donald Trump is. Keep bitching and moaning, it's going to be a long 4+ years having to deal with the deluge of reality hitting you in the face every day.

Even though everything is cray cray atm.. is it wrong to say that people are

- getting involved
- standing together

more than they have before? it feels like the 60s again.

These link dumps aren't doing much for me either. How about picking one link, and then giving your own original thoughts about the contents of the article.

Based on the NYT article, they appear to have acquired the intel they were after. Success. It appears the mission was compromised by drone or other aircraft sounds, a tactical mistake, if we have the right information, but very unclear/unlikely that any blame (for casualties???) could be put on Trump.

Obama's team planned this, and they just wanted to wait until the next moonless night, after Obama's term ended. I'd actually like to give Obama credit for this success.

The casualties are an unfortunate, but foreseeable part of the war against Islamofascists.

You and your article said trump was lying. The article THAT YOU LINKED proves you are both wrong. Case closed.

I agree with sosa. Maybe next time post that link and explain Trump is lying because the weird country you are from the word few means 12+.

Why don't you respond to the questions about your link? You claim your link showed liberal protestors causing problems at Berkeley when the photo was clearly of an anarchist.

You're a Trump supporter who's never demonstrated an interest in honest engagement on any topic in your entire history of posting about politics. Nothing I post will ever "do much" for you and I have no interest in fulfilling your desires to see less evidence of Trump's idiocy in this thread.

Who said "few"? I didn't. Trump didn't. The article didn't. You have no idea what you're talking about, as usual.

At today's press briefing, Sean Spicer falsely accuses Iran of attacking a U.S. naval vessel (!!!!!!!) when actually Yemeni rebels attacked a Saudi vessel

Coupled with putting them "ON NOTICE" earlier, seems like the Trump team really wants to start a war with Iran!

I concur with your estimation. It is better than the 60's though because it's now, we can get together and be involved in many new ways, and the ball just started rolling.

This is a quote from Biden's top national security advisor.

Your link dumping is a big waste of time for everyone in this thread. If you don't want to engage in actual debate then don't. These links are desperate attempts to discredit our President. Most are not true or don't tell the whole story. I could easily post as many links saying bad things about Obama or Clinton. This is just laziness. You're bitter from the election and you think this is your only way to fight back. Get over it!
02-02-2017 , 03:52 PM
Mong, I asked you about five questions yesterday. You answered zero. That is not "engaging in debate."
Sosa has never honestly answered a question posed at him either.

I've happily participated in debate in this thread where warranted, with you, Sosa, and others. More often than not, with Sosa especially, he just slinks and runs away when someone disagrees with him rather than respond (see: Starbucks cartoon yesterday).

You have 4+ long years to keep telling yourself that!

Yes, you could! Sucks when your party gets control and you can't just lob hand grenades from the sidelines anymore and you have to actually govern, doesn't it? I'm rather enjoying being on the other side for once, you guys had all the fun for the last 8 years.

The answer to your question was in my previous responses you either missed or didn't understand.

Even your President commented on how the protesters were trying to stop free speech.

I certainly didn't act like this the last eight years.

BTW...It doesn't suck at all that my party is in control. I certainly do hope it's a long 8 years. I Want to saver this moment. I am enjoying watching the melt down of the left.
