It's only absurd to try and draw lines like you are doing. The severity of their personal problems (anger, laziness) could be treated in this country and I believe in people enough to give them a chance to improve their habits and mindset. There are kids in this country living in orphanages worse than poverty in the middle east, and those kids are some of the luckier ones sadly. Still, they deserve a chance too.

What is different between a radically ****ed up person from Syria and a radical terrorist is worthy of a line. The latter is primarily driven to literally destroy America. Allowing these *******s to cluster is asking for 9/11 + orders of magnitude.

Now if you had called it a risk, that would be a whole other tale.

Terrorism has had the effect of many countries sealing their borders, so, again, this makes no sense.
