I think I've mentioned this before, but the nice thing about the Trump presidency is that the left will now care again about war crimes.
You might be confusing the left with democrats. Anyone who never said a peep about U.S. drone strikes (or other indiscriminate bombing, or support for those committing such atrocities) is a giant hypocrite and nothing but a partisan ahole who is not one bit better than Trump. I'm looking at about half the democrats in this forum.

The left has always cared about war crimes. The nice thing about the Trump presidency is now all the supreme hypocrite democrats who silently approved of Obama atrocities are being exposed as the trash they are.

57% of people support the ban.

End of story

Deuces = old school leftist

You are so much better than these other populists, even though you do believe in 9/11 conspiracies.

1. Wrong. Cherry picked polls are pretty useless
2. What does that have to do with the actual risk poised by refugees from those 7 countries? Canadian white supremacists have killed more people in North America than anyone from those countries have for the last 40 years. Shouldn't we be banning white supremacists?

such a weird story the left tell themselves. muslims are in a religion of peace (except if you are a woman or gay (over 50%), try to leave the religion, are jewish, draw cartoons, etc) yet the same people preaching how peaceful they are, are simultaneously telling us that any wrong move could radicalize peaceful people in to people willing to blow themselves up in a crowd of innocent civilians. such a weird theory. imagine calling a portion of christians radical christians and then a mob of people on the right telling you not to hate all christians and stop saying those words or else ordinary christians will turn in to suicide bombers

Who said I was an authority on terrorism? I just did the math, no refugees from those 7 countries have caused any terrorism in the states in 40 years. Why are they now being singled out? We have real demonstrated threats to American lives that are being ignored, the difference between the two "threats?" The color of their skin. Nice optics.

Trump fires acting AG, saying she "betrayed" DoJ for directing them not to defend the ban

She was an Obama holdover so she was going at some point anyway, but it's interesting that of the non-fascist way (wait until Sessions is confirmed literally tomorrow) or the fascist way (write a really creepy statement making sure everyone knows that full obedience is demanded, and personally attacking her on her way out in Trump's typical childish manner) to do this, well, none of us are surprised which one he chose.

weird logic

i could have sworn i read isis was in syria. coming to the conclusion that no syrians have committed terror on U.S. soil as the basis for decisions is either intellectually dishonest or just absurd. and acknowledging the absurdity in this line of thinking doesn't even mean you need to support or oppose the temp ban

Adios you are a confused old man. Not sure why you voted for him. None of his policies will make your life better. Sorry. SAD!

Thanks, but I have to correct you on my beliefs. I actually don't think there is the evidence sufficient to establish any 9/11 theory. It is you who believe in a 9/11 conspiracy theory, just the official conspiracy theory. That theory is supported by nothing but a pile of assertions, backed up by nothing. If you think differently come join the thread. You could be the first defender of the official conspiracy theory to say one single convincing thing.

Noteworthy for a big Rust Belt automaker to say that
Ford is very weak on immigration. Not strong like Chevy. Sad.

Acting afraid and cowardly is exactly what terrorists want. Man, trump really gave it to them.
01-31-2017 , 12:55 AM
It looks like Trump is adjusting the immigration not just to keep certain people out, but to perhaps to encourage other certain people to come on in. Under the guise of providing safe harbor, Trump apparently wants import foreign Christians.

You have to admire the gall. You have a voter base who is shrinking demographically so what do you do? Bring in a bunch of people like you. Is Trump trying to go beyond grandstanding and actually significantly influence demographics? This raises weird questions like how many white supremacists are there in the world.

I don't think you've been around much recently but you can't post like this in the content threads anymore. It's fine in the older style !!! threads.

There's a rules sticky and two moderation threads for more info and discussion

Two points. The left have their own history of excusing or downplaying atrocities committed by leftist governments. This is unfortunately just a common feature of all political ideologies. Second, in politics, hypocrisy is only a minor sin. Much more important is whether someone is supporting good policy now, not whatever they said in the past.

Maybe Canada should.

Starbucks to hire 10,000 refugees in response to Trump executive order. Can you get any more anti American than this? I hope their business takes a huge dump. 10,000 Americans won't have jobs because of this.

Great decision by the Preident to fire the acting AG Sally Yates. She refused to defend the executive order. In other words she refused to defend the law. She was considered a weak performer anyways.....Law and Order!

The swamp continues to drain.

Did these people who were detained or who temporarily can't get back into the country think that Trump was kidding during the campagne? It seems like poor planning on their part. Most whom qualify to be here will get back in. The sad stories being told on CNN and other highly liberal networks are so exagerated. Stop with this drama. This is a great move by Trump, although I'll admit it could have been rolled out better.

Maybe they haven't had the opportunity yet. Maybe The FBI and other agencies are doing a great job of preventing this.

They are hiring them "worldwide." They already have a program in place to hire veterans, did you buy more coffee from them after they announced that?
