Two problems, both of which are sufficient

1) It makes no sense to allowing posters to make otherwise unacceptable posts simply by attributing them to someone else

2) Not without the right of reply.

I'm making a valid complaint about the way you moderate the forum in the moderation thread. It's 100% relevant and not "noise" to point out inconsistency in your moderation.

TS makes a bunch of abysmally racist posts and you do nothing and say you would eagerly welcome him back. 5ive makes the same sort of posts and you get concerned. This is an legitimate grievance.

@ Blades: We're not going to agree on that. I'm not even going through it with a fine toothcomb to check if they're all his posts and all being quoted in context. Even if they're totally accurate he has been banned and that's pretty much the end of it in this forum - the LC threads are for both sides to participate in.

It's about, for example, whether to close the thread in question. That's matter of whether it breaks the PC rules, whether it's an acceptable to 2+2 or not etc etc. it's very easy to address that without making it about your opinions on me - take those to the other thread.

I'm closing that thread for now at least. I will listen to arguments that it should be reopened but the material in there is totally unacceptable in this forum. Deletion and/or a title change are also on the table.

Unless and until a different decision is reached, please do not attempt to replicate the method that was used in any other thread.
