It's not Chez's fault and it's obvious why. Political correctness is inherently unsustainable and collapses on itself. Kerowo wasn't a better mod, he had a better philosophy.

How anyone with half a brain can't understand this is beyond me. Chez is doing exactly what he's supposed to do, which is why he's having unending problems.

I don't agree about PC being nonsense and could defend it more*. However I accepted the objections even where I didn't agree and it's no longer part of the rules of Pv7.0

If you mean the b word, I think the idea of that ban came from the cheztapo itself.

Amazingly I agree with you that it shouldn't be banned, but not because I want to run around here abusing and insulting women but because I think to be consistent you'd also have to ban the word 'bastard'.

I wasn't commenting on that in the above post but ...

People born out of wedlock do not, as far as I know, suffer from prejudice or discrimination. For example, I doubt there's a pay gap like there is for gender.

There may be other reasons to ban it but I don't currently see it as a PC issue in the same way as sexist insults.

And there lies the problem. Literally anything can be labelled offensive it racist it prejudiced. We've gotten to the point where if someone argued against welfare it'd be racist.

Everything about political correctness has turned into stupidity and deserves to be openly mocked. Really, the b word is just one example.

I disagree that it's backwards. I think having a measure of PC is a good, progressive step but when it goes too far it becomes quickly devalued.
