I don't know why you are even bringing this up now. I haven't even been posting and you thought Nazis have your polite offense free forum.

The world just got better thanks to you mutts, so why don't you move on to the next great injustice.

Chez, did you get rid of this idiot yet?
04-02-2017 , 08:46 AM
Why would he get rid of him when he accomplished exactly what he set out to do?

These people are sad there is nobody to argue with anymore. It's pretty creepy and pathetic when someone has to search out an older post of yours just to start up an argument.

Lol. I don't think Chez set out to kill the forum.

A shame, really.

Great job, whosnext! Lol. What a ****ing dildo.

They should look on the bright side, though. There's no work for the mods to do now, everything is perfect.

Lol

They are not whosnext rules. He is just the cop who was put in a position to enforce PC guidelines. Its not his fault you all cant paint between the lines.

Why is this guy writing heart felt letters to Mat to mod this forum he doesn't post in? He says its private......well **** him and **** you too.
04-02-2017 , 01:50 PM
Well **** you back!

It seems pretty obvious to me whosnext single handedly killed the entire forum. If Chez was the only mod we'd still have an active forum.

This is a perfect example of what NOT to do. The funny thing is we all knew it'd die if they continued down this road and did so anyway. Complete idiocy. Just closing it would have been much better.

Chez killed off half the forum by being so open to white supremacy. Whosnext killed off the other half by enforcing the rules chez made up but only ever wanted applied to those meanies who routinely make fun of the smp crew

It was a group effort but it all comes down to chez.

That's not really how it is.

Unchained died when Pv7.0 was born - it was complicated because they occupied the same body -so to speak. Naturally those who liked unchained aren't thrilled about not being able to post in the old unchained way and have left, or post a lot less, since the changes have taken effect. It will take time to build the new user base because most 2+2ers have long avoided the politics forums because they are so toxic and many wish to keep it that way of course. It's much harder for Pv7.0 (and everything for that matter) as politics has become so extreme with trump etc but there's no rush.

I believe chez supported whosnext on your posts getting nuked. I could be wrong maybe he hung him out to dry i forget.

Either way fact is no chezlaw PC rules there is nothing for whosnext to enforce. But blame game whoever you want i guess.

The decision was fully supported and the subject was discussed (and we agreed) before the deletions took place.
04-02-2017 , 06:09 PM
Yeah, but it's a pretty anaemic forum now. The PC virus has killed a lot of the robust (no holds barred) discussions that made PU such a refreshing alternative to the main P forum imo.

It's kind of a boring forum now. Can't see much future for it tbh.

Shame really, because a good alternative to the heavily biased main forum was sorely needed.

The no holds barred equal playing field was dead one way or another. Now you have somewhere where you can get into the political topics without the one sided no-holds barred approach. The PC virus isn't such a big deal once you get used to it.

Maybe politics discussions should be kind of boring - the interesting bit comes from the fact we are interested in politics and care about political issues.

Well, politics is a boring subject to a lot of people. Anything that makes it more entertaining is a plus imo. The more people that get involved in discussing politics the better it is for democracy.

If it's boring people won't get involved, apart from the politards.
04-02-2017 , 07:12 PM
I'm not sure the same old people having the same old shouting matches was that entertaining for many.

But I'm all for making it fun where we can. I confess to finding politics very depressing at the moment which may not be helping.
04-02-2017 , 07:25 PM
I'm not sure chez really has a plan per se, it was always just "Avenge BruceZ by ****ting up politics." Most of the SMP crew gave up months ago, but he's kind of stuck here.

Fair point. Maybe easing up a bit on the PC policing might help.

I accept it's a fairly difficult balancing act between trying not to offend anyone and having frank open discussions on sometimes controversial subjects. But being too heavy handed tends to kill robust debate imo.

This was not the impression I got when it was discussed and I'm pretty sure you're lying here.

It maybe be true in general, but not specifically in that instance. You should protect whosnext, but again, don't talk to us like we are stupid.

Whosnext is a moron and a huge mistake. He knows it and so does everyone else here. Just look at the results. He literally doesn't even have to be the mod here anymore, whats the last action he even took in this forum?

It's dead, and it's because of him. So be it. What I'm saying might be harsh but it's true.

It was pretty entertaining, actually. There was quite a bit of activity and the threads had many highly....engaged people.

I think this is a good example of how not to react and why policing people's opinions based on "protecting" those "offended" is such a stupid thing to do. The rules are simple - no racism and no spamming. Let everything else just play out.

But, leave it to 2+2 liberal idiots to **** it up, as usual.
04-03-2017 , 01:35 AM
I am basically done with the forum for now. It's a huge time-hog, and even arguing libertarianism with obnoxious liberals who basically know already that it's just like the HuffPoop portrayal, and tard up the whole forum.

Anyone wanna hook an old reg up with cliffnotes of this forum last year or so? I see that:

-title has changed from Unchained to 7.0. anything meaningful behind this?
-wil still seems as lol as ever
-it seems to have changed from mostly trolling to at least a significant % of alt-right posters. is this accurate?

Also any good stories such as wil's unwinnable bet against LetsGambooool would be great

Sure.

You missed me destroying the forum for about 10k during the election (and the main forum losing hundreds of thousands of dollars due to their idiocy), most of the people arguing against me leaving the forum after me constantly crushing them and in turn them being replaced by even more loltastic morons (and spammers), and finally it becoming so PC that pretty much everyone stopped participating.

It's amazing to watch the left cannibalize itself. It's pretty fascinating, though. If you really want to be entertained, start reading around last September in the Donald Trump thread in this forum and definitely read the main forum's election day thread. It's total hilarity, legit the funniest thing I've ever read on 2+2, the real-time meltdown was fantastic. I'm sure at least a few people cried, lol. I feel bad about the amount of money they lost, but you know how the saying goes about fools and their money.

Welcome back, by the way. It's like showing up to a movie when the credits are rolling.
