I think you have that honour. The timeouts were generally well complied with - several got a one-off warning not to flagrantly disregard them but you were steadfast in your cause (and a newbie account).

So let's put this into perspective.

I asserted that Breitbart wasn't credible, and linked to published critical analysis articles on two different Breitbart articles, and linked the Breitbart articles themselves as citations. You gave me a time out, which I did not comply with, and you banned me.

But yet there are people being openly apologetic towards Neo-Nazi terrorism, and blaming the victims and George Soros the jew, and they aren't banned.

I'm curious about something, Chez. Part of the reason me putting Cows on ignore was because I didn't want to force a mod decision on pronouns.

Now that things are looking.. shaky in terms of the survival of this forum, I must ask. Would you have forced people in this forum to adhere to a posters wishes of what pronouns they prefer to be referred to? I ask that knowing full well the absolute ****-show it would have turned into with others switching their preference back and forth just to troll.

When all is said and done, AllCows will have been the final nail in the coffin. It goes to show how one person's personal vendetta and hatred towards people who disagree with them can be a galvanizing point. Cow's absolutist and extremist views somehow won.

I understand why some things bothered you about the forum but frankly your problem with the timeouts instead of temp bans defeats me. It would, for example, have made no difference at all if Wil had had an 8 day temp ban instead of an 8 day timeout (except that I'm not supposed to give such long temp bans without approval from higher up)
