I've paid the rent in this raggedy mother****er site for a long time, most posters just suck up the food and heat, if you think I'm spamming message a mod, I've been power posting here for years and if you're looking for good political music I just gave you a great punk rock and industrial song. I didn't Youtube link them because I'd rather have you know what they're about before you listen and I thought this forum was "unchained," meaning no pussies complaining about my $hit blog. Hope that answers your question chief.
One more that is highly relevant today with all the glorification of military in sports.
A little anarchist dubstep/industrial...the lyrics are from Murray Rothbard's "For a New Liberty: The Libertarian Manifesto", read by author Jeff Riggenbach...
"The State, the government, the supreme, the eternal
The aggressor against the persons and property of the mass of the public
All states, everywhere
Whether democratic, dictatorial or monarchical
Whether red, white, blue or brown
The State
For centuries, the State has robbed people at bayonet point
and called it taxation
For centuries, the State has enslaved people into its armed battalions
and called it conscription
The State
The State
Tax...slave...
The State
For centuries, the State has robbed people at bayonet point
and called it taxation
Coercion and violence by the direct threat of confiscation or imprisonment
This is taxation
The State
For centuries, the State has robbed people at bayonet point and called it taxation
For centuries, the State has enslaved people into its armed battalions and called it conscription
I choose to be optimistic about this particular election. Perhaps that's because I have related so well to the following song my entire adult life. And still do.
I haven't heart much "rock" music the last 15 years or so, resorting more to Ethnic, Electronic, and Classic. But I was introduced to these nice young people a mere minutes ago, and this song made me instantly feel better about this whole mess. Try it!
