Do you think that there is any chance you guys overreacted because there was some weird looking old lady hanging around the cemetary in the middle of the night? And then the story got scarier inside your heads because your minds added and disposed little details and basically came to the conclusion that she HAD to be a ghost woman?
I don't know, with 100 billion+ desd people and billions of cameras existing, why is there no evidence for stuff like this? I also never met a single person in my life who claimed to have seen ghosts or paranormal stuff in general. It's always the guys on the internet. No offense, though. I'm not saying you're lying or anything.
There are a gazillion photos and vids on the interwebz of ghosts n stuff, so it's all a matter of what each individual would consider evidence/proof for themselves. Since our special effects technology can essentially create a real looking version of anything on a screen, anything can be faked, so probably for most people, footage of a ghost just wouldn't suffice for them as strong enough evidence, by this point. Similarly to something like seeing an alien or a UFO, the only way to make most folks a believer would be for them to witness it in person. Also, it's very possible that people have had these experiences but choose not to share them with friends out of fear of being ridiculed, so the fact that no one you know has shared with you a personal ghost story is irrelevant as far as the chances that ghosts are real.
