So we have two international crises going on today.

1. Some commercial jet is shot down out of the sky by a surface to air missile killing 300 people with early unconfirmed reports that 23 Americans were on board. Not a plane crash……..but a surface to air missile attack.


2. American's closest ally in Israel is engaged in a ground war.

YET, our dear leader POTUS is STILL headed to a scheduled fundraiser tonight to party it up.

WTF is this bull****??? Seriously, WTF is this bull****??? Why is he at a fundraiser right now and not in the Situation Room???

Now, some of you ardent LOLsupporters of Obama might say wellllll, everyone makes a mistake…

But just last week he was in Texas about 230 miles from the border and went to a fundraiser and not the border….

The day after the Benghazi attack guess where Obama was? A fundraiser in viva Las Vegas…

The day after Putin initially invaded Ukraine and took over Crimea he went to a (you guessed it) fundraiser and said "it's happy hour for the democratic party."

When Iraq was falling, and the day Mosul fell to Isis he went to Laguna Beach for a fundraiser and then golfing in Palm Springs.

AND almost seamlessly after mentioning there was a tragedy today with a commercial jet being shot down, he goes into comedy mode on a virtual split screen with smoke pouring into the air where there could be dead Americans, and starts joking about Biden's looks and jokes about transportation funding. Did anyone see this load of ****?

Folks, the POTUS Barack H. Obama is a disgrace.

What was Obama supposed to do at the border?

Hoard doubloons and not wear his seat belt.

He was supposed to grab a machine gun and shoot some people crossing the Rio Grande obviously.

Im more interested in what sm2 thinks Obama should or could do about either of those situations that would warrant being in the situation room.

Going to a thousand fundraisers a year would suck, I think he's handling it well.

On this issue, I stand with SilverMan. It is a disgrace that politicians have to spend so much time and energy on campaign fundraising activities. Obviously he agrees that a total restructuring of the campaign finance system is needed, including rolling back Citizens United and replacing the whole thing with a robust system of public financing for all federal elections. That way our chosen representatives could spend more of their time representing their constituents and less time on fundraising. Right?

Actually, now that I think about it, you should be happy - every minute he's fundraising is a minute he can't devote to ACTIVELY DESTROYING THE NATION.

I was thinking the same thing: if raising money hadnt become the primary job of politicians Obama wouldnt constantly be doing fundraisers. Obviously sm2 wants campaigns to be publicly funded so Obama can focus on being the president!
