Being easy to read on an internet message board is a good thing dummy. Most of the time you have to spell things out to retreads like yourself.

Hysterical that being harder to read is being celebrated as a good thing. But basically, if anyone wants to "improve" their score they just need to write a bunch more words to say the same thing.

Awesome, thanks for doing.

Gotta get that word count score up.

Words.

Lopado*temacho*selacho*galeo*kranio*leipsano*drim* hypo*trimmato*silphio*parao*melito*katakechy*meno* kichl*epi*kossypho*phatto*perister*alektryon*opte* kephallio*kigklo*peleio*lagoio*siraio*baphe*tragan o*pterygon is a fictional dish mentioned in Aristophanes' comedy Assemblywomen.[1]

It is a transliteration of the Ancient Greek word Liddell & Scott (LSJ) translate this as "name of a dish compounded of all kinds of dainties, fish, flesh, fowl, and sauces."

The Hobbit, yes. LOTR is a teen-level book.

Grisham is basically a kindergarten level read. Don't get me wrong, i've read most of them and enjoy them immensely, but it's not like my brain is being taxed reading the yuge 2-syllable words.

Legal courtroom drama might be slightly more sophisticated than elves.

That said, the the parables of the Ring are much more profound.

It isn't so much about the parables (which i agree with you are profound); it's about the language. The words that Tolkien uses are carefully crafted and frequently show up in SAT and GRE exams. In fact, he created entire new languages that follow grammatically correct rules and syntax. They don't call it the greatest epic in fantasy fiction for nothing.

Grisham is just fluff. Enjoyable fluff, but fluff nonetheless.

Just as a teaser I'm working on a content analysis project that involves categorizing the emotions in texts, as well as a more complex way of assessing common topics across texts based on the semantic relationships between words. When I get that all sorted I'll probably run the P7 post set through it and see if that's at all entertaining.

There's no need, we know wilch wins the hysterical league.
