How are you, Paul D? I don't think we've ever spoken to one another. It seems you're just conforming to the views of those I've exposed as fools. But, who am I kidding? You guys already knew their disposition. I, however, didn't. In retrospect, giving them the benefit of the doubt might have been a mistake, considering I read some of their logically-challenged posts beforehand. Still, I couldn't help but think they were just joking or trolling.

As it turns out, they weren't. These kids definitely let their schooling interfere with their education.

I'll adopt shunning from here on out, like you all.

Hey Proph, what happens during recessions in a world that relies on charities?

Whoops. Sometimes it's not a good look to make baseless assertions about s*** you don't understand.

Probably?

I think the mix of people very interested in politics (who tend to be critical) and the internet (where manners and other stabilizing norms don't carry as much weight) combine for a fairly negative atmosphere. Even if people did like each other, it probably figures as not worth mentioning as it's not in line with the forum's dominant theme of criticism, which is served by strong conformity which, in turn, probably stems from the nature of political discussion.

My guess is people like each other but don't think it is worth saying or even expressing indirectly. Say you did think someone was cool. You can't exactly invite them to meet other friends and have drinks or talk shop or anything just due to geography. So there are practical limitations on positive relations. On the other hand, over the internet, you can do more to express dislike than you can practically in real life. Negativity and dislike seem to have built in advantages in this environment.

I don't usually call out bad posters but Hadis openly advocating genocide is permaban worthy if anything is.

Probably the same can be said about China.
Emphasis mine.

is he?

let's not split hairs here ikes.

you know that thing that people do where they take stupid positions just because they are compelled to disagree with anything you say?

you're crossing that line

Coolant's pretty cheap. If you've got a small leak seems like you could just keep refilling it rather than shill out $900 for a repair.

@ikes, yes. Yes he is.

pvn forgive me if I immediately question the deuces

(lol @ the tards who don't and anyone who reads the israel thread often)

I'm pretty sure he's saying "some people in Russia think that killing people helped advance the economy", not that he actually agrees that it was a good thing.
07-24-2014 , 11:11 PM
I dunno Nich, the "Mass killing can accomplish great things if you're not too squeamish" sentence seems a little disconnected from the "People in Russia..." sentence.
07-24-2014 , 11:14 PM
Mass killings can accomplish great things. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things — terrible, yes, but great.

Don't ya have to go with anti-genocide interpretation given some ambiguity from an unknown? Even with this forums higher than normal incidence of mental illness I think that is sound bet.

You know full well what he meant and that his posts are not always grammatically perfect because he's Israeli and English isn't his first language. I know it's hard but try not to be such an *******. Hadis is probably the most leftist Israeli poster here and agrees generally that Israel is more to blame in the current conflict, even.

Not an unknown and I can almost guarantee he was writing it from the perspective of the person he was talking about and not himself, he just worded it funny.

Deuces you are seriously a huge piece of ****. And if you haven't realized by now that almost certainly it's a language issue in this case you are even dumber than I thought, which is astounding.

Pretty sure you know he's Israeli and just want him banned for that, despite the fact that he's basically on your side. We all know how you hate Jews and think they are responsible for 9/11, so that makes perfect sense.

So I received a temp-ban and 50 infraction points for posting a link to an article about the Ukraine crisis in the Ukraine thread. The reason? Because Mr Wookie doesn't like infowars.

Ridiculous moderating.
07-25-2014 , 08:51 AM
Lol snowball
07-25-2014 , 09:39 AM
Posting infowars links should be a perma. So should posting russia today.
07-25-2014 , 10:02 AM
adios seems obsessed with trying to abortion-shame the forum. He must be projecting guilt from being duped into believing disingenuous republican "pro-life" judge and persecute "morality". It's gotta suck accusing innocent people of murder all the time in the name of intruding on their private and personal lives' because the voice in your chain email said so.
07-25-2014 , 10:04 AM
we need an infowars unchaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiined thread
07-25-2014 , 10:34 AM
Gotta be honest, that's a ticky-tacky ban. Like, is linking to Breitbart or Reason a bannable offense?

I would have perma banned you for linking to such a ****ty site.

me for mod!
07-25-2014 , 11:01 AM
I'm not in favor of banning people for linking to infowars, but it should be a snap deletion and that it's a real good indication that you shouldn't ever listen to that poster.

Blissfully, it has become a moot point... but if lewrockwell.com and mises.org are OK... why not infowars?
07-25-2014 , 12:59 PM
The ban was, of course, not just because of the link to infowars but also because of deliberately spreading conspiracy theory crap.
