Happy Festivus my fellow Politards !!!1! Which means it's time for the yearly Odi Awards. To review: the Odi Award, along with the title of 'Odious', is the preeminent lifetime dis-achievement award for bad posting here in Alta & Baja Politards. Also, the additional title of 'Administrator of Odiousness' is dis-awarded to the most odious of active Politards.

Wow, who can believe this is the seventh annual Odi Awards? Amazingly enough... it's true. There wasn't a Festivus post airing of odious grievances back in 2010. In 2014 I guess I got so eloquent extolling the ill-virtues of the Odious ikestoys that the mods nuked the Odi Award Festivus post from orbit... as their feat of strength, it seems. However the 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015 Odi Award Festivus posts are still there to enjoy.


The last few years, the level of odiousness here in Los Dos Politards has been trending down. A prime example was the preemptive permabanning of reigning Administrator of Odiousness ikestoys by forum hero CPHoya... just before his selfpermabanning by hubris courtesy of forum hero Lilu7. It's like that feeling of relief when a annoying noisy machine that's forever been running in the background... is finally switched off. Silence has never sounded so good !!!1!. Another example is the Odious sards, who again hasn't posted in over a year, and hopefully has finally slinked off forever with his tail between his legs. Good riddance !!!1!

Say what you will about kerowo's Baja Politards reign, I wasn't always a fan, but he did what needed to be done. He took the trash out. The permabanning of Proph, helping to run off JohnyCrash, the exile of Teh Odious Jabber Wookie all made Los Dos Politards a better place. Before he was banned, Proph was spared the title 'Odious' as he was obviously a child. That, and he sincerely apologized for dancing on The Missile's grave. However, as the 5th (and last) Dean of ACism, he was snap-enshrined by the Veteran's Committee. That's 'ann-r-key' brah... maybe try again when you turn 18.

Conversely, the Veteran's Committee passed on JohnyCrash, not because his odiousness wasn't obvious, but because he wasn't around long enough before his April permabanning to be historically relevant. However, the inexplicable recent un-banning of this repulsive fool got him snap enshrined. I can't think of a better peep to share a six incher with J.Fogel... and yes, that's a prison rape reference.

Thankfully, the Odious Adam the Ant, Montius, Nielsio, TomVeil, zan nen and unmentionable one remain righteously dead & buried. I enjoy dancing on their virtual graves.


It's true... odiousness doesn't sleep. Unfortunately, the Odious General Tsao remains active. Teh Jabber-Wookie spams SMP. sputnik3000 revels in his odiousness... even sporting "Odi club member" as his current forum location. The pathetic Silver_Man2 and snagglepuss continue their periodic odious attempts to circumvent their well earned racist permabans. Long an in joke, the poster behind AlexM+ColbertFan is still active, although he hasn't posted under these SNs since 2016-5-29 and 2011-6-5 respectively. The self-admitted 'Worst gimmick ever', Carlos Danger, seemed to expire after earning his Odi Award last year (below). Sadly, the namesake IRL penis pulled another IRL boner, resurrecting this most odious of all gimmicks.


I'm sure my fellow Politards couldn't help but notice a groundswell of IRL odiousness in 2016. The same phenomenon played out here this year in Los Dos Politards. This Festivus, a record five poasters have been newly hung with the dreaded 'O'. In addition, two of the previously Odious Dead climbed out of the grave to become nominally active. Obviously those of the odious persuasion are going to have annoying habits. One of those annoying habits is not staying dead. Examples are: Zombie Borodog who has posts on 2016-8-9(2), 2014-1-2(1), 2012-11-15(...); Zombie BruceZ 2016-9-12(1), 2014-9-5(...); along with still dead Montius 2012-1-22(2), 2011-1-4(...); Nielsio 2013-5-26(1), 2012-12-7(...); and sards 2015-1-16(2), 2015-1-15(3), 2015-1-14(2), 2013-7-13(...).

In addition to the aforementioned Proph and JohnyCrash, Nichlemn was also newly hung with the 'O'. Blissfully, he's lowered his posting volume recently, but there's a reason the odious #Team-N, the worst of the Interwebs Tone Policing forces, as named after this fool. And who can forget the blatantly trolling threads he started back in the day to harass the mods for allowing self-modded threads. Fools like this are why we can't have nice things here.

The battle to be the new Administrator of Odiousness also came down to two posters newly hung with the 'O'. The runner up, wil318466 certainly has odious game. He spews gibberish, nobody is sure what it's about, except for one thing... it's always about the Odious wil418466. Who can forget his so-called bet with LetsGambool? He's gotta be the biggest idiot on 2+2... AINIC.

The worst of the bad, the new Administrator of Odiousness, is shockingly even worse. This 'alt-right' friendly, gibberish spewing cretin has all the tools of 'odiousness'. He can't follow the simplest of conversations to save his pitiful life, he has the ignorance of the ACers, the arrogance of the SMPers, and to top it all off is he brings that euro-trash depravity and Silver_Man2 style lack of hygienics vibe to the party. Simply put, he's an odious fool... the worst of the bad.
