So the USA plays Belgium now, barring Belgium losing to S. Korea and Algeria beating Russia?

I've heard of these "Kompany" and "Hazard" guys from playing FIFA 13, they seem pretty good, USA probably can't keep up despite drawing a country smaller than West Virginia with 1/30 our population.

Oh man the stats for Germany vs lol US are hilarious

US had one shot on goal and ze Germans doubled our time of possession. We crushed them in fouls committed, saves, and players writhing on the ground faking injury tho

US were terrible in possession against Ghana and fortunate to get the win imo. Over the 3 games they clearly deserve to go through though.

Welp, it was fun, soccer fans, but it's all over. You had your big moment, 95% of america stopped working so they could watch the US team get dominated in a meaningless game by a team who was basically phoning it in. Now we can go back to not pretending we care about futbol for four years, just like everyone is a big horse racing junkie every year until the kentucky derby winner loses, and then everyone is like "what's a horse?"
