The official Communism thread The official Communism thread

09-12-2014 , 02:30 PM

Comrades, in this thread we discuss all things Communism.

Was Karl Marx right about the inevitable collapse of Capitalism?

Is Marxism inherently flawed, or has it simply been misinterpreted by all those who have practiced it so far?

Was the Soviet Union a force for good?

Fidel Castro, hero or villain?

Is Communist revolution inevitable in an increasingly polarized, unequal world?

Do you own a Che Guevara t-shirt?

97% of the people who whine about communism haven't read anything about it

Let's see, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot...I'm against it.

Also Castro and Che both big-time villains.

Communism was just a red herring.

You, sir, are a herring sandwich.

Marx was a huge racist, so, like with Rothbard, anyone that supports anything similar to anything that he might have said is also racist.

Agreed. I believe Marx's intention was to emulate Isaac Newton, by discovering hitherto unexplored forces and laws which govern the universe. Unfortunately, Newton was also a huge racist. Ergo, the laws of motion, and the dialectical materialist conception of history - are falsified.
