This isn't how it works. Who you vote for is a binary decision, it's completely logical to vote for a candidate who you disagree with if you think they're a better choice than the alternative. Your statement that 'supporting a candidate who is racist...[makes] that person a racist" is absurd, even if you take for granted that the candidate is in fact racist and their motivations for policy are based solely on their racist beliefs (a dubious assertion at best).
By your logic, any gay man who voted for Obama or Hillary Clinton a decade ago was homophobic, since both Obama and Hillary were not in favor of gay marriage until recently.
