Way out in SoCal (I hear, being an Okie) Donut-Panerias and Donut-Chinese places are fairly common. But leave it Austin TX to invent the Donut-Taco. Think a bear-claw sliced in two, with some carnitas stuffed in the middle... I guess.

Anyways, to get back to taco etiquette... if you're not getting rolled tacos (which are a proper choice 24/365) the call in the morning at a taco shop is unquestionably a Breakfast Burrito. And I hope it goes without saying that while some taco shops aren't open 24hrs... a true "taco shop" taco shop should always be open. You can't really say you live in civilization if you can't get a non-corporate taco close by at any time... now can you?
