Are there any studies citing which ideology is the most successful with women, liberals or conservatives? What about financially? Who are typically more successful? Are liberals/conservatives generally more intelligent?

Even if you can't cite studies, I don't mind, you can give your own opinion.

I'm a political newb and don't really have a strong stance on anything, I'm just curious.

I remember reading that intelligence and higher education is correlated with Liberalism. But I don't know if that relationship is causal or what exactly liberalism means. And higher education could mean a whack of things, from hippie propaganda prevalent at universities, to legitimate scientific academic exploration prevalent at universities, to anything in between.

I'd really like to see political leanings segmented by major; school size; school type, etc. so many humanities and social science programs are heavily politicized one way or the other.

Then again, look at this course calendar. I don't know how you can even call this higher education.

I've never heard any correlation between ideology and success with women. I would imagine it would depend somewhat on what part of the country you're in and your age at the time.

It is my understanding that wealth tends to vote more Republican.

I believe there have been some studies supporting the idea that liberals tend to be more intelligent or, at least, better educated.

that's true, in that I was referring to some studies. As opposed to you who just makes up stupid stuff and doesn't care about things like studies.

I'm glad we agree.

I am shocked to learn that a liberal arts college has a course catalog that is heavily weighted towards liberal arts courses.

Your True Liberal Condescending attitude shines through in your posts. Speaking of making up stuff, got any cites for those "studies"? Don't bother citing the one's that show a differing opinion...we know you just ignored them anyway.

So link away the studies you think are correct. No reason to act indignant. lol

Obviously, you aren't included in the highly educated group with grammar like that.

I don't know about liberals in general, but we know for a fact that you're pretty dumb.

I never said I was highly educated or incapable of typos. I do know that you are a trolling idiot and everyone who reads your posts gets a little dumber.

Ah, Shirley, I was wondering when you were going to show up. Whenever Kurto gets in over his head (which is quite often), you come to the rescue. In your first post here - a personal insult. Very fitting for a MOD, don't you think? Well, I guess the liberal playbook is in effect, because the condescending attitude and insults are already flying. Remember that talk about Lowering the Level of Discourse on here we had...yeah, in one ear and out the other.....

Oh you think I am dumb.....I think you know better. If you saw the diplomas hanging on my wall, you might reconsider that statement. But facts don't matter to a Liberal.

Why would I care about your degrees? We can read your posts and see pretty clearly that you're dumb.

Yeah...I am dumb for forgetting that facts don't matter to you. Rather then concede a point when proven wrong, you simply hurl insults. Grow Up and perhaps someday soon your coconuts will drop.

I don't think going to college or taking certain courses in college having anything to do with intelligence.

Well, while you're spot on about the mod in question, to make such a statement at the end confirms you're badly overmatched here.

Facts, indeed. From an obvious cultist of the low information camp.

Doesn't have to do with age or part of country or any of that, and has everything to do with creating attraction. So yeah, political leanings don't matter either.

Over my head? I answered with my thoughts on a post and you showed up with your dumbed down Rush Limbaugh act.

I can't be over my head when I've said so little controversial. You do come across as a troll and you appear to be pretty dumb. I don't need wookie to make that clear.

You have to admit this is pretty ironic, don't you think?

By the way, you never answered my question because you thought it was important to point out my typo. If I post some studies will you go away?

kind of true. Though smarter people tend to go to college and the people who get more advanced degrees tend to be really smart.

People with a lot of intelligence tend to want to learn more and college is one route to doing that.

Cerveza69 and Kurto are this thread's official designated dolts

I disagree. An 35 atheist liberal is going to have a hard time doing well with women in Rural North Carolina. Similarly, a culturally old fashioned right wing Republican is not going to do as well in certain liberal strongholds as elsewhere.

Also - age matters because the younger people tend to be more liberal.

Everyone goes to college though basically?

I don't think intelligence has much to do with wanting to learn more or going to college. I think if you are intelligent you are intelligent. I think intelligence has to do with picking up things faster maybe. Or innately knowing what to do in certain situations ("street smarts?").

Just because someone goes to law school and becomes a lawyer doesn't necessarily make him smarter than someone who went to school to become a welder.
