Or, the election can be seen as breaking down pretty much with the olds mostly voting for Trump and the youngs voting for HRC, just not in enough numbers to win the EC. It is charming that the white nationalist nazis are seeing this election as some kind of mandate for their hateful views but stupid people don't tend to be good at math do they?

Completely incorrect. 37% of voters younger than 30 voted for President Trump, while 45% of voters older than 65 voted for Clinton, so there's no "pretty much" olds vs. youngs. Does that make you a stupid person who doesn't tend to be good at math also?

Your numbers reinforce what i said. As does this exit polling: http://college.usatoday.com/2016/11/...l-orientation/ but maybe I should put it in terms you'll understand, here is a youtube video explaining it:

Have you noticed teams are making an even bigger deal of the anthem these day's.

The message is going to become clear especially now that Trump is President...Don't mess with the USA!

I'm just curious. I noticed nobody is talking about this anymore.

Do you think this disrespect had anything to do with helping Trump win? Obviously BLM, far left media and the far left goons played their part.

I tried to tell you!
This is exactly what I thought! There is a time and a place for protest. I hope lessons have been learned. I hope we can all come together under President Trump

The BLM protests had nothing to do with Trump.

You're right! Conflating the two is almost as stupid as responding to your own posts!

I realize Trump has nothing to do with BLM.

Why are you so angry and hateful!

Trump is surrounding himself with the best people. Most are conservative. It makes sense the government is moving to the right since the silly leftist have been given the boot.

Less than optimal showing by our brave hero yesterday vs. the Bears at Soldier Field! I'm going to continue to enjoy every minute of Kaepernick's wretched play, that is if any NFL team ever lets him actually take a snap again.

It was reported that Kap was gonna void his contract and become a free agent next year. This was before yesterday's game when he was benched after only attempting 5 passes....OOPS!!

Matt Barkley played in the same conditions, played better. Gabbard played better too.

Seriously? Do you know anything about football?
05-09-2017 , 12:40 AM
Kap is still a fee agent. I think he realizes he made a huge mistake because he is making it be known he will not kneel this year. It sounds like he is doing good things in the community. There are rumors he s only interested in pursuing a social justice career.

Some people believe Kap is being black balled from the league. I don't think so. He's asking for way too much money and he simply doesn't have the football IQ to play Quarterback. Teams will take a chance on Joe Mixon or Ishmael Zamora because they are gifted athletes and have high football IQs.

No doubt teams don't wanna have to deal with the media frenzy that will come with signing him. I'm surprised at how many people are repulsed by his behavior. Ultimately, a team will pick him up due to necessity.

I hope players in the future will learn from this and choose their mode of protest more wisely.
05-09-2017 , 12:56 AM
He's probably worried that taking a knee will get him arrested in Trump's America.

His protest was successful. It brought attention to the issue. The people who took umbrage are the ones who thought there was no issue to begin with.

The reason he's not picked up yet is they just got done with the draft. Teams are still trying to see what they need. And he's just not that great of a QB.

Quality human being though.

His protest was idiotic
05-09-2017 , 07:10 AM
I have been both supportive and critical of BLM. Supportive because I know that historically they have been oppressed and think their communities are still effected today. Critical because because of some of the more authoritarian ideologues that they have among their ranks and the very un nuanced way some of them apply the concept of privilege.

IN regards to CK Hes put his beliefs before his career and I think he deserves huge props for that obviously a very brave individual.

This may be controversial as well but I dont mind the mixing of sports and politics I think because my own football club has them both intertwined.

I think its a good way to get young and working class people involved in politics or at least think about issues they would not have done before. As long as it is not rammed down peoples throat I dont see the issue.

I say working class because in the UK soccer is very much a working class spectator sport , although sadly that is changing , I think it might be different in the US where football is more a middle class spectator sport.
