Joe Biden clueless Joe Biden clueless

In this speech he actually wants to use government money to disassemble a factory move it to a community college to train the students and then move the factory back so the workers can work there.

Then he claims how rich he is but has no bank account or does not own any stocks. Basically he and his are government leeches who like to awkardly smile during debates to look like alpha senator.

Would it not be better to leave the factory where it is and lower the minimum wage so the students can earn a little cash while learning a skill and save the taxpayer $30,000 a year to teach a student ($10 per hour)?

I watched part of his speech, I missed the beginning part. As usual he blames republicans for sitting on their feet. Calling the new republicans as being stubborn compared to the old republicans.

Then I got to thinking if I was a responsible port manager, would I not be keeping a fund to do improvements on the port. Would not the new panamax something I would be aware of without federal government babysitting?

Turns out I was correct.

He's a plagiarist too, that speech he stole from Neil Kinnock back in the 88 campaign. Pretty much a dullard by all indications.

He'd fit in just fine on these forums.

On the upside, his hair transplants have improved greatly over the years.

Call me crazy but I doubt Biden actually bragged about being rich in a speech.

Joe Biden and his wife gave an average of $369 to charity over the 10 years preceding the '12 election. They reported over $300k in income in 2011 alone. Remember when Biden bragged about Delaware being a slave state?

Awesome guy.

0:50. Look at Joe Biden I still make a lot of money. I do by the way [laughing] I do. Don't hold it against me I don't own a single stock or bond or I don't have a savings account but I have a great pension and have a good salary. [I have the ability to tax the poor working public I can use them as my savings account and stock account instead. Poor soles don't realize I live my good life off their hard work. I do nothing.]

Why do you need a Vice President? I get that y'all like to assassinate your elected leaders from time to time and need someone to step in, but couldn't you just use the Secretary of State or Defence? i.e. someone who performs a useful role in the meantime rather than just trolling.

Maybe in the old days the VP actually fulfilled some kind of meaningful purpose? Just seems like such an easy ride. All the monies, pomp and prestige, but virtually no responsibility whatsoever. Like getting a job in the UK cabinet as 'Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster'.

In the old days the VP was he person who finished 2nd in the voting.

It's an interesting idea. I'm very much in favor of government reform in the US.

The Vice-Presidency isn't worth a warm bucket of piss.

Secretaries are not elected. The VP has no responsibilities spelled out in the Constitution. But someone has to attend the funerals of foreign dignitaries.
