None of that contradicts any counter argument to your charge of hypocrisy. By all means keep talking about Byrd. He is a fine example of what change is possible, maybe the best in history. What could be a better example than a powerful white man changing the very racist views that helped him gain power? His story is much more inspirational than someone who simply adopted the progressive values of their parents.

****ing modern Democrats and libtards are so stupid, most of them don't even know that it was their party that created the KKK.
The democratic party was associated with the KKK (link to where the party "created" the KKK please) but the KKK has nothing to do with progressive ideology. Parties change radically though ideologies remain roughly intact. Right now the democratic party is more ideologically aligned with the republican party of the 70's and 80's than to the democratic party of that era. As the millennials age they will start to shift the democratic party back left. Parties can shift their ideology internally while still maintaining the same name.
So what? Everyone knows the KKK is ideologically aligned with what are now called republicans. Sorry, but there is no getting away from the racist tag for the republican party. Not only is it necessary for republican candidates to pander to racists in order to get votes (in ways that are lol obvious to everyone), but their politicians and members simply cannot resist indulging their urge to express racism more directly. Even wil, who makes empty claims of being a progressive democrat in order to fit in here, simply cannot help making his true feelings known. Making feeble attempts to spread around the racism by drudging up long retired associations in name only is just hurting your cause. Such attempts don't convey what you think, but only desperation and idiocy.
