So basically you can't explain why a criminal might be able to commit a robbery using a knife or bat instead of a gun when he has no fear of gun retaliation right?
10-01-2014 , 07:58 PM
lol i can and did but your idiocy deserves a spot here.
10-01-2014 , 08:00 PM
Fair enough. You're wrong, but that's your default setting, so I'm not sure what else I would expect
10-01-2014 , 10:46 PM
You seriously think crims carry guns because they are afraid of victims with guns? That seems pretty stupid.
10-01-2014 , 10:51 PM
Not only does he think that, he thinks criminals would prefer to carry knives and bats over guns, because they're probably not violent.

lolololol

Not what I said at all, thanks for playing.

Also didn't say that. I said that knowing that the person they are victimizing will not have a gun will lead to less instances of the criminal having a gun because 1. They won't need it, and 2. Bats and knives are considerably less expensive. You seem to have a problem understanding exactly how trying to LIMIT things works. Nobody is saying that all criminals would stop using guns, I said it would likely lead to a reduction
10-01-2014 , 11:09 PM
You can say you didn't say it all you want, it's quoted above.

He said it wouldn't do as good of a job. You seriously can't see why?

I'm asking why. I'll pose the same question to you, what could someone holding you up with a gun get you to do that somebody with a knife could not?

I get where you're going, and support tighter gun regulations because of it, but if I've got enough cash on me, I can outrun a knife. I think you got Iked on this one.

I'm a pussy, so probably nothing. Best to approach it from the muggers perspective. With a knife/bat, Usain Bolt is getting away. If someone is an extremely good fighter, they could turn the situation on you. You can mug 2 people pretty safely.

Smart crooks carry guns because they wan't to have overwhelming force to reduce the risk of the victim resisting. They don't carry guns to get in shoot outs with anyone. Dumb crooks don't do the equations you think happen, they want to use guns because it makes them a bad ass.

You don't have to try such tortured logic to justify gun control, all you have to do is look to Australia to find a first world example of imposing gun control in modern times and have it work.

Um No. Lol you seem to think criminals are logical rational people.
10-06-2014 , 02:14 PM
And you seem to be generalizing all criminals as stupid. Way to make a bad point.
10-06-2014 , 02:55 PM
No, I am arguing that they are not rational or logical people. I never said stupid.

Fantastic ****** rant from Deuces this morning on Netanyahu's UN address:

The racist face of Israel is so hateful he can't hide it anymore. Yahoo started off brazenly opportunistic as ever as his bigoted fear and war mongering painted entire swaths of disparate peoples, who happen to share the Islamic faith, with the ISIS broad brush. He said "Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is Hamas". Then he made the obligatory unsupported Nazi comparison to all Islamic militants everywhere. You can imagine the conversation in the Israeli propaganda war room "Yes! ISIS just cut off another head (cheers)! Now, we've got to associate this with Hamas. We’ve done this before...they are both Islamic, both Arabs. Easy game! The Americans will eat this up but we've got to make the connection now, while the 'disconnection' is fresh (laughs)".

Yahoo went on to:

- Characterizes Palestinian resistance to occupation as fanaticism

- Cites Israel's remarkable concern for Palestinian citizens during their bombing of a defenseless population. Pretty cringe worthy. I mean, 500 dead children is remarkable concern compared to what? your burning desire to kill them all?

- Targets Iran as the preeminent threat to the world. Never mind that Iran has been a relatively rational actor in foreign affairs all this time while Israel continually threatens them, carries out assignations of Iranians in Iran, and bombs them.

- Called the U.N. Human Rights Council a "Terrorist Rights Council". Accused the U.N. of biased treatment of Israel.

- Starts in on the worldwide antisemitism canard, in his mind a magical talisman protecting Israel from all legitimate criticism.

- Made a vague reference to Saudi Arabia as a leading Arab state facing the same challenges as Israel. I suppose he means carrying out terrorism and getting away with it.

- Cites archeology as a source of validation for Israel's claim to the land they are taking by illegal settlement expansion. Who needs the law when we have crackpot Zionist archeologists to tell us who, currently, belongs where? Send these experts of deep history real estate claims over here and help us get rid of this loud Mexican music in my estimation.

But yeah, it's certainly "important" when a delusional extremist sitting on nukes offers a self righteous, threat ridden diatribe at the U.N.

I'm sorry, that response wasn't in the 9/11 thread so I get to play one of your cards and ignore it. You didn't insult me in the 9/11 thread so I'm not actually insulted.
