Cool, so we can all agree that "I'll take the under" is the same as saying you'd happily bet on something. Because this is primarily a poker forum and we know gambling talk.

There are people with heaps of net worth who would not consider themselves having "100k to lose". But whatever maybe goofyballer is just chilling on 8 figures worth of bitcoins or something or co-created CandyCrush so who knows.

Then again I would have thought he would have had massive Hillary bets for fun since he repeatedly assured me it was the most stable lock of locks hmmmm

I would guess you have a good amount of loot and make a nice amount as well. Just thought this thread is kind of ridic.

If I could ask God above if you have ever wagered over 20k on something in the classical sense I would likely lean on the 'no', but then again we are all gambling with our money in multiple ways regardless of what we do with it (Cash, stocks, bonds, assets, real estate etc etc etc).

And you'd be right, I've never tried to act like I'm some huge gamblor (though when some dumb person with an ego comes along and challenges you on something you know to be true, it's never too late to start!).

Actually Goofy I originally thought you said you make 100k a year. This is obviously not true because you're on this forum all day. I'm not sure if food stamps are use it or loose it, but I suppose it's possible to accumulate close to a 100k worth. Plus your Iphone and refillable Starbucks cup...ya, maybe I better pass on this bet.

BTW...congratulations on your 57k post. That's quite an achievement. Remind me not to gamble with you.

Yes, I understand of course. I can go as high as $1000, and give you a 20% commission, though probably not enough. I am not a high roller at the moment.

Fair enough. iirc that's when I brought it up with whosnext to confirm we were in agreement but then the Wil bet fizzled out and I never got around to making our position clear. Sorry about that.

Re this thread - I propose making it a prop bet thread (or to close it as the title bet doesn't appear to be going ahead). I'll wait for feedback before doing anything.
