Quick backstory is he lied for years about being a cop - had an AMA, bought up stories/training/whatever in gun law arguments, and all round put a shocking amount of effort into the lie.

Not sure if GOAT-worthy, but Mat Sklansky posting on pain meds was a fun time.

The one lingering piece of confusion I had about DBJ was whether he had actually been spamming the site for referral dollar money or whether that was another lie that was part of his fictional persona.

The DBJ story loses a lot if you weren't really around during the time he was active.

DBJ left of his own volition after the lie was exposed, and the forum is much better without him. If we need to hear a bunch of fabricated life stories, we've always got DiB.
