i don't know. i don't know how any minority thinks. the only minorities i know are people who feel comfortable in my world. i know my black and hispanic and asian neighbors (all very middle class), but i don't know any minorities living in detroit or the south bronx, etc.

i'm quite sure they have vastly different perspectives, but i don't think i will get them posting on this site through more censorship.

It's amazing that for so many years the conservative bubble is something we've mocked and laughed at. We made fun of Fox news and the idiocy of the right. Now, the liberal bubble is much, much worse because of the sheer size of it. Even after they got the election so laughably, stupidly wrong, they refuse to recognize that maybe there's a bubble around them. I absolutely agree. I hope to turn this into somewhere where at least if people from these demographics wander in then they feel welcome and find its' worth participating.

We have to realsie just how unwelcoming the politcs forums have been and it's not just the extreme speech that was allowed in PU or the fact they're dominated by white men. Anyone who isn't from our main demographic or has loved ones who aren't, is also likely to get called a bigot or racist etc because they dont have the required narrow view of the world.

Actually if you don't wander in and make bigoted and racist posts, it's fairly unlikely you will be called either.
