The internet is the real world. When people get doxxed and death threats because of an online political movement, it has very real effects on peoples' lives. People have been attacked, they've lost their jobs, they've had to move. You haven't done your research here.

This is obviously a good article, but glosses over the terrible treatment women/minorities received there before gamergate. Like it does touch on the repeated urges to get people to kill themselves, but there was a lot of other bad stuff too. He was at the forefront.

What do you mean by prolific? He's been invited on many talk shows and news shows to share his views in a wide range of topics. He's invited to college campuses to do the same. He has reasonable and logical stances on many issues. Plus, he's pretty funny.

You say that the alt-right sprung up from the "SWJ" stuff, but I've watched these nooks on the internet (4chan, SA, a few others) become a safe haven for absolutely disgusting racism and white supremacy since the dawn of the internet. You were too busy not being a loser and making lots of money, so you wouldn't have been around to see it. No one is faulting you for that, but the history of things isn't something people are making up. It's there. There's documented evidence all around to find out how things really happen. You don't have to take the word of your friends who read about a thing on Facebook or even the word of us trying to enlighten you. You can go look for yourself.
