I find Fly's claim of ignorance entirely plausible. AFAIK he has never posted in the life thread, and keeping tabs on politards shoveling their driveways or whatever really doesn't seem his style.

ikes mentions in the life thread that his father is battling skin cancer. A couple weeks later Fly makes a very typical Fly post mocking ikes and his upbringing, including some line about his father. ikes goes bonkers insisting that Fly did so in deliberate knowledge of the current medical situation, although there is no evidence to suggest that Fly has ever read the life thread. ikes' claims that it was in the thread title is also not entirely true, as the title in question simply said something like, "gogogogo ikesdad".

As for the current situation, LK has made repeated mention of his ailments over the course of like 2 years or something, in multiple Politics threads, most if not all of which ikes has read and posted in.
