Probably true but needless to say does not have to go airborne to spread rapidly among large numbers of people. Family members, loved ones, doctors and patients, etc. tend to have a habit of getting physically close to one another.
All the reassurances that the virus is only contagious when the person is symptomatic ring hollow if that is supposed to mean the virus won't spread. Symptoms start out like other general viral infections - fever, body aches, etc. Guess what people still shake hands, hug their spouse, sleep in bed together, etc., even if one of them has a "bug".
This needs to be contained quickly and the fact that a nurse who treated an Ebola patient was allowed to fly to Cleveland and back, does not exactly inspire confidence.
